He gave her a look, "Oh no you don't. Our relationship is strictly professional."
Raina:
"It doesn't matter. You just agreed to keep in contact with us. That's always how friendships start."
Lau:
I swear that even though he looked to be calm, I noticed his right eyebrow twitch slightly. Tsking, he said, "Keep on the foolish wondering."
I have to admit. I'm very proud of Bec. Something he said seemed to have gotten to Daniel.
I must have had a somewhat out-of-place look on my face as I thought to myself, My smarty smarty Bec-cy!
Mikaella:
I smiled. I wonder if he also meant that for me... But of course I didn't want to ask him out loud, especially if he said no. That would be so awkward... So I asked Lauren instead.
"Does that include me ?" I asked in a very hushed tone.

Mika brought me out of my trance, so I asked back in a whisper, "Meant what?"
Raina:
"You don't have to admit it. But don't deny it either."
Mikaella:
"Well, does that mean he wants my contact info also, or just yours ?" I asked in an even lower voice. I so did not want him to hear this...
Lau:
I shrugged, "I actually think he was addressing Bec...But it doesn't matter. We're all going to be here either way."
Daniel:
I hmphed as I saved Becquerel's contact info. Turning to the Raina girl, I said, "We'll see who's in denial. Now if you excuse me, I have important things to attend to."
Mikaella:
"Oh... That's true," I said, a bit disappointed... "Well, see you later," I say to Daniel. I smile and wave as he starts to walk away, his brother Leon close behind. I sigh and wonder about what exactly the DemiGods future will hold...

"There's other words too. I think alliance fits your needs" I called out after him.
Bec:
"Use the info sparingly." I say, "I'd rather you just iris message me or something."
Lau:
He said, ” We'll see.” I wasn't sure if he was talking to Raina or Bec, but...maybe both? One of his men came to us and said, ” I'll escort you outside, if you don't mind.”
Bec:
"So, anything else for today, princess?" I say, yawning, "I'm bored."
Raina:
"I'm ready to get out."
Mikaella:
"Yeah, me too. I'm kind of tired from my first day," I admitted. "So, do you guys like school ? Do you think the work is easy ? What about the people ? I really like school, and the work is really quite easy, and I met this girl named Ariana and she's really cool! I'd like to invite her to our lunch table sometime... So, what are your thoughts on school ?" I asked them all.
Raina:
"It's better than...no actually no. Even the people annoy me. The only good thing is that it keeps me occupied."
(I have a plan but needs little time to pass since their visit...maybe one night.)
Lau:
"We can go to that smoothie place.. Unless you want to be interrogated by mom and Robert."
Raina:
"Let's do both. But first. Smoothies." I said getting into the car and driving back. I parked the car into the parking lot of a small building. Inside it looked like a old diner with weirdly shaped chairs next to equally distorted tables.

"...I feel like Alice in Wonderland." I said confused by the weird place.

"This is one of my favorite places. If I'm not in the fields, I'll be here." I said ordering a berry smoothie.
Lau:
"Yeeeeah...They have Mango Strawberry smoothie. Count me in!" I said looking at the old-ish menu. "Reminds me of when we went to Hawaii."
Raina:
"Hawaii?"
Lau:
"yeah. Went there with mom two years back.....it was gorgeous. We had a beach house there. Kinda why I would love to live in a beach house in the future."
Raina:
"Wow that's brilliant. So what happened between you and your mom? It sounds like you two loved each other. Is it really just because of what's his name?"
