Xenakis:
"Your mother may be understanding this time. Her of all the gods and goddesses should know that your word is word and that you were tricked into it."
Raina:
"I hope your right. My life is on the line here."
Xenakis:
"Hey, I'll stand up against your mother myself if it comes to it."
Raina:
"You'd do that? You sure? I know I couldn't. Her temper scares me."
Xenakis:
"I have the guts just like my sister does."
Raina:
"You never know when you might need them. So what about you? Anyone in your sights?"
Xenakis:
"Not really. The Ares guys aren't bad looking but...nah. The Hades ones are too cruel and make me think too much on incest even though that isn't even it. Camp virtually has no guy I like."
Raina:
"There's bound to be someone. If this doesn't work out, then we can be alone together."
(( Gtg! See you tomorrow XD ))
Xenakis:
"I'm gonna keep looking. Don't tell Anna though. She'll try to pair with somebody." I said jokingly.
(Same here)
I was dancing around the campfire with Nate when I saw Lauren and Anna talking further down at sea level. Nate wrapped one of his arms around my waist as he spun me around, laughing. He seemed to have recovered from what happened with his crush, not that I'm complaining.
"Aren't you worried that she's gonna see you with me, thereby ruining your chances with her?" I asked as he spun me around again.
"Not really. I mean, we are just friends, right?" He paused, seeking confirmation.
"Obviously!" I told him after a pause of my own, assessing my feelings. Eh, none were there, thank the Gods.
"So how's it going with the stalking?" He whispered to me conspiratorially after we settled down on the ground, watching the stars.
"The what?" I asked, momentarily distracted.
"The stalking! Dude, all of last summer, I caught you-"
"Shut up! Anyway, I have given that up." I shrugged at his disbelieving look.
"Quest for love is never easy, my friend."
"Never easy, indeed." I agreed, sighing.
"Hey, for what it's worth, by the time we are forty and too old for it, we should totally get together if we are still single eh?" He said after a few minutes of silence.
"I guess. I'll be too old to get off of my feet long enough to make breakfast for you anyway."
We looked at each other for a moment before laughing like little girls high on pot.
Anna:~
"Concentrate!!" I told Lauren.
I was on top of the climbing wall, mostly because it was the best place to see the fireworks, and it was calmer than the beach surrounding the campfire.
I found myself laying down on the floor of the Armory, somebody must've stopped me from leaving as I phased out of my physical body.
It happened at times when I used my power recently.
I just kind of... phase out and wander some weird place. I think I was in Europe this time. I've been going there more often, recently.
Lauren:
After trying some more, I gave up and lied down to watch the fireworks.
Anna:~
I sat down. "I'm not a really great teacher... You should ask help from your brother."
Lauren:
I smiled to her, "There's no hurry anyways...Besides, maybe I can only use it in danger."
Anna:~
"So your saying that your powers have an on and off switch?"
Lauren:
I shrugged, "Maybe...I can't have made all those waves."
Anna:~
"Maybe you did! You never know.." I looked up at the sky.
Lauren:
I smiled a little and then sat up, took off my shoes and ran into the waves.
Anna:~
"Don't drown yourself! Oh wait.. you can't.."
Raina:
"I know that feeling. Why could I just take a truth?" I sighed.
I smiled as the fireworks faded into the sky giving way to the brightening stars and the ever-changing campfire, the night calmed me, protected me.
I'd never be in danger at this time.
Sometimes, I think the slow descent into insanity might be worth this.
Sometimes.
Lauren:
I chuckled and called for her, "Come on in! Don't be scared!!!"
(Bring that Bec over xemo! He's gonna go even insaner if he stays alone all the time!)

Anna:~
"I'm not scared!" I said defensively and got up. I took off my shoes and ran into water.. only to run back to land after a second. "It's cold! I don't like cold.."
Lauren:
"It's cold?" I asked raising an eyebrow. I didn't feel it was cold at all. I walked back to the beach, "Wanna go look for the others? And see the Apollo campers dance or something?"
