Denise :
"They have a lot of flavors, just choose."
Ryan :
"That's good I guess. Do you like video games?"
Diana:
I looked up at the menu only to catch a glimpse of someone from the tip of my eyes. Freezing, I pulled on Denise's sleeve.
Leon:
"I do. They're better than movies."
Rowana:
I quietly sat at a small table by the window. Not even my high heeled boots made a sound against the tile floor. I picked up the menu and studied it for a minute. I decided on a bagel with a cup of black coffee. I waved towards a waitress and she took my order. I looked around the diner as I was waiting on my food and saw someone I never expected to see again. "Diana." I whispered to myself.
Denise :
"What?" I asked getting a bit closer in case she didn't want to rise her voice.
Ryan :
"They both have they're charm."
Diana:
"That girl. She used to be with Mark... I...she never hurt me per se...but... Do you think he sent her?"
Leon:
"True. Besides it would make Thomas happier."
Denise :
"Could be." I said and looked at the girl.
Ryan :
"I only played dating simulators and a few other games though."
Rowana:
I noticed I was being looked at so I smiled and waved politely.
Denise :
"Let's find out if she's still working with him..." I said then waved at the girl to come over
Rowana:
I noticed the invitation. I stopped the waitress who served and informed her where I will be sitting. Afterwards I strolled over to their table. "Well Diana. This is lovely isn't it? Is this your new boyfriend?" I asked motioning towards the man who invited me over.
Diana:
"Oh no no no. He's my friend."
Leon:
"You need to try some more then."
Denise :
"So you're Diana's friend as well then?"
Ryan :
"I guess I could. I should study a bit for my exams as well."
Rowana:
I pulled out a chair and sat down. I leaned against the back, crossing my legs and putting my hands in my lap. "Once upon a time."
Denise :
"What's your name?"
Rowana:
"Rowana. It's a family name."
Denise :
"I see... and your age?"
Rowana:
"Does that matter?"
Denise :
"I want to know since I asked."
Diana:
I stayed quiet as I watched them juggle questions.
Leon:
"What exams?" I asked curiously.
Ryan :
"For university. Even if I don't attend I still have to take the exams"
Rowana:
"And it is none of your business."
Denise :
"Whatever you say." I said as the waitress brought over our order. I decided that even if she was still working with Mark she wasn't dangerous in particular and now that I got to feel her energy closer I could just track her position on the energy map if I had too.
Rowana:
Not only did they bring their order but mine as well. "What have you been up to, Diana?"
Diana:
I cleared my throat as I tried to get my voice, "Nothing much. College stuff, you know."
Leon:
"I thought you didn't care."
Ryan :
"I don't but I'll be punished if I don't get a high score so I should read once the material at least. Denise probably told you how obsessed our mother is with scores and rankings."
Leon:
"Oh right. I tend to forget about your parents."
