Are you sure that time had not run out even though the icon was still showing?
I have more than one window open at a time and if I haven't refreshed the other window and the icon is showing... I click on it and it says that I don't have enough money, which the reason for that... what I did... was that the 15 minutes had went by already.

Possible, I guess. It was still valid when I clicked, but by the time the server responded, it may have expired.
