Of course! I'm just shopping with some friends.. Of course.. Yes mother.. Okay. Yep. Promise. Have fun!" I hung up quickly. I turned to everyone else. "as expected, mom is out for the whole week. Let's just hope nobody crashes the fireplace tonight like the last party. I'm gonna go check on everything, while you all go pimp yourselves up for the kickoff party of the year." I walked over to the counter and after paying, I left in haste to my place.
