Yeah. In Virginia we call them SOLs and in Arkansas they're called IOWA tests.

In 2nd or 3rd through 8th grade it's the K-PREP. Before that, it was the CATTS. Freshman do something. Simple test and on-Demand writing. Sophomores have the PLAN and On-Demand. Juniors have the ACT and On-Demand. Seniors have the SAT. Then we have EOC's, country wide (normally computerized) testing for Biology, Algebra 2, English 2, and US History. I had the Biology one last year. I took the English 2 last Trimester and will be taking the Algebra 2 on Thursday (in written form since the programs down). I shall be taking the US History one next year. The academies have a test called PLTW (Project Lead the Way) for PBS (Principles of Bio Science). I took that last week. Oh, and not to mention that I have a final exam in Chemistry on Monday, and final exams in World Civ and Spanish next Tuesday. Oh, and a Final Project for World Civ over America becoming a superpower economically, technologically, and militarily due Friday. I have my Chemistry study guide due Friday thats 140 points and also, on Friday, we have an extra credit opportunity in Chemistry. We have to name the atomic number, name, and symbol (the 1 or 2 letters) for the Periodic Table where they're at on the Periodic Table. All of that on top of probably going to court Wednesday to tell a prosecutor that my Father should drop his parental rights (he doesn't use them anyway) so my Dad can adopt me, thus changing my last name. So no school then. Plus home and a social life to uphold and trying to read PJO, Fairy Tail (also watch), and Death Note (not in the cop talk mood lately). Also trying to make sure the 2nd hamster doesn't die and my dad wants me to get a boyfriend and take martial arts lessons and exercise.

Wow....thinking of all this now....it sounds like a lot

Hey guys, sorry it's taken me so Long to respond. I have a long story ahead, but yeah…

For the longest time I've wanted to commit suicide. And the worst part is that I don't even have a reason to. My life is great, my parents are supportive, my sister is wonderful, I have everything I need, but I feel so un-satisfied, and I feel so selfish because of it.
I've made plans for doing it, but I'm to afraid and family is the only thing keeping me back. I haven't told anyone, you guys are the first.
I also have some addictions that make me want to do it(and I'm not talking about pills, it's worse.)
I watched some videos, and I feel really resistant to do it, but I'm afraid I won't be able to stop myself.
I'm sorry I got you so concerned, it's probably just a faze and I'll get over it.

Rare, You're amazing

Spi, This is a subject I know quite well because I, myself, have thought and attempted it. You say things are great at home but what about friends? Do you get made fun of? Left out? Have very little? Or even neighborhood kids...any picking on you or making you feel like you're not liked? With home, things may be great but do you feel like you're being left out of something? Do you feel like they don't care?
I know you're being homeschooled, have you ever thought of asking your parents to enroll you in a public or private school in your area? Sometimes (a lot of times) it comes from the lack of social time with other people. I know....I get socially bullied and it makes my mentality 10x worse. I had home issues but I always felt like no one cared. Spi, maybe you should read my poem That Feeling. Its in my Poetry topic. Try to connect to any of the lines. It may help. <3

I was bullied from grade 1 through to year 9. I know what it's like, and that feeling too. When I look back though, part of me is glad it's happened because I wouldn't be the person I am today. This is why I liken myself to Erza Scarlet (and why I love her to pieces) because I shudder to think someone who was not as strong as I was would be. I have a raging temper and I'm often called heartless. I don't open up to a lot of people, either. But it's my way of never hurting again.

So Spi (and everyone else), there are two tangents you can go down. The bad one which I never want anyone to go on, or the good one where you endure it despite everything that's happened and become stronger.

I love you all and I never want anything you hurt you guys. So please, for my sake.
