Verene:
I raised an eyebrow at her, "And why is that?"

Verene:

Something about the way most of the Fairytail people spoke was really...impressive. They always spoke so highly of each other. Loyalty always showed in their eyes. "But why would they trust me? Or him? We haven't been here for long. For all they know, we might be spies or something."

Verene:

I was surprise that I didn't scoff at her. Then again, the way they were protecting the two of us was...surprising. We got to Xavier's place and I merely said, "You knock."

Verene:
Xavier opened the door for us smiling slightly, "Come on in, ladies."

Verene:
Xavier turned up the heater just a little bit. I'm assuming for us since he always preferred cold environments. He replied simply,"Well...My body is dependent on fire. Sometimes I can't take any extra heat. I try to cool my body down this way."

Verene:

He shook his head chuckling a little, "It's really alright. I don't expect you to freeze because of me. Besides..." He nodded towards me, "Ice Princess might not be too fond of it." He seemed to be in a much better mood nowadays. I wasn't used to him smiling so often.

Verene:
He sat down relaxing in his seat before saying, "You two should sit down. I'm not entirely sure when, or if, the others are going to show up."

Verene:

I sat at the far end of the sofa and remained silent. The silence was suffocating. I could even hear them breathe. I quickly took a look at Iree and gave her a silent order to talk. I felt bad for her but I didn't feel like talking to him!

Verene:

Xavier stared at her for a second or so seemingly surprised that she spoke up. Eventually, he sat up and said, "I am worried that our parents might be planning an attack...Two clans combined can be too many."

Verene:
Xavier looked at me, then quickly looked down at his hands, "We'll need to earn money. I don't think we'll be able to live off of what we took with us for long."

Verene:
He and I asked almost as if on cue, "Like what?"

(( Well...Its been a few days so everyone's meeting up at Xavier's house to discuss what the next move should be ))

Iree:
I flinched. "Umm...instead of the jobs that are ummm...similar to what...umm we did, get the mm ring, You should do the jobs that have well...umm...less traveling...involved. Umm like rescuing cats...and such. J-j-just until we know for sure things have mmm...settled."
