The Quest is really amazing, it even reminds me a little of American Horror Story: Coven series, love the Witches theme ^-^
I like this quest. Being a Christian, a lot of the items will forever remain in my attic.
There's a lot of nice furniture items, LOTS of very pretty house plants, the clothing is very pretty.
As some of you may remember me mentioning, I used to play the game Everquest which has wood elves, gnomes, dwarves.. just to name a few races and for the classes, those included Druid, Wizard, Necromancer, Cleric... So while I played that game that had "unchristian" aspects, it never influenced me to want to become anything other than a Christian.
I agree with Sierra I too try to stay away from a lot of the witchy stuff in quests..by keepkeeping them in my attics. But that's being said I do like this quest as it gave me AHS Coven vibes. But I was trying to wait for the Halloween quest lol
I must get all those beautiful magical antelope for my Asgard room. I must!
Especially this one:
Just gorgeous.
It's like an early Halloween quest. I really like most of the gifts, like the pile of books and the fact that there are so many moons and stars. Lady0filia, WHY doth thou have to be so poor!?
I want those foxes, too! So cute~

Nobody is trying to "unchristian" you. Honestly, half of that stuff stated was unnecessary :/
The world is open to many religions. I don't go around with some holier than thou attitude when "Being a Pagan/Buddhist/etc, many of these christian/etc items will forever stay in my attic." I'm not trying to be offensive but I thought religious talk was against the rules? Since this quest isn't religious at all. It's just a trendy witch quest for the upcoming Fall season.

Also, I've never thought of the pentagram as being evil. It's a star in a circle. I've always thought it was neat-looking (and I'm a Christian, too.) Maybe someone could explain
It was never intended to be viewed as evil. It was seen this way as how popular culture and many Christian/Catholic groups view 'witches.' Sorry i'm horrible at explaining but a quick google search will help make things a little clearer:

Contrary to what those who choose to persecute or lie about us wish to believe, Wicca is a very peaceful, harmonious and balanced way of life which promotes oneness with the divine and all which exists.
Wicca is a deep appreciation and awe in watching the sunrise or sunset, the forest in the light of a glowing moon, a meadow enchanted by the first light of day. It is the morning dew on the petals of a beautiful flower, the gentle caress of a warm summer breeze upon your skin, or the warmth of the summer sun on your face. Wicca is the fall of colorful autumn leaves, and the softness of winter snow. It is light, and shadow and all that lies in between. It is the song of the birds and other creatures of the wild. It is being in the presence of Mother Earths nature and being humbled in reverence. When we are in the temple of the Lord and Lady, we are not prone to the arrogance of human technology as they touch our souls. To be a Witch is to be a healer, a teacher, a seeker, a giver, and a protector of all things. If this path is yours, may you walk it with honor, light and integrity.
Wicca is a belief system and way of life based upon the reconstruction of pre-Christian traditions originating in Ireland, Scotland, and Wales. While much of the information of how our ancestors lived, worshiped and believed has been lost due to the efforts of the medieval church to wipe our existence from history, we try to reconstruct those beliefs to the best of our ability with the information that is available.
...
Witchcraft in ancient history was known as "The Craft of the Wise" because most who followed the path were in tune with the forces of nature, had a knowledge of Herbs and medicines, gave council and were valuable parts of the village and community as Shamanic healers and leaders. They understood that mankind is not superior to nature, the earth and its creatures but instead we are simply one of the many parts, both seen and unseen that combine to make the whole.
About Pentagrams:
wrote:
The five points of the star represent the elements, earth, air, fire, water, and the fifth point means different things to different people. Often times it is associated with spirit, or Akasha. It is also representative of the fact that the wearer of the symbol recognizes a higher being; something bigger and more powerful than themselves.
...
The pentacle is no different, it is a religious symbol flipped upright or upside down. It represents a belief system, a set of ideas. The pentacle is not an evil symbol or an icon of the devil. Anyone who draws or wears the pentacle does not even believe in a devil, so how can they worship ‘him’? Do not rely on the media or entertainment business to relay the facts correctly. Always ask questions and form your own conclusions. Get to know someone and their ideals before assuming they are a devil worshipper based on their choice of jewelry for the day.
Yada yada. Not evil. Etc. lol
It's not for everyone, I get it. My mom is a super devote catholic but so was my grandmother but my grandmother actually agreed with how I viewed my life. My mom still views it as "evil." Just depends haha. *

I agree with this. Everything in this quest flows nicely together. The step with the spirit board could have fit better into a Halloween Quest I find. The plant step was the most Wiccan the other steps were more popular culture based.
In all, I'm sad I couldn't have done the whole quest (though I might buy fees for the last three steps hmm ...)
*Sorry not everything makes sense. Did this in a rush ^^;

Okay lets get back on the topic ladies. No more stuff about Religion please.
This is a very lovely quest, there's nothing better then some witches to put me in a Halloween mood. Or should I say Fall!

Exactly my thoughts, and seeing this I can't wait to see what are they gonna come up with on Halloween ^^
As for price and answers ?
Ooh~ Thank you so much, 30stmxfan!!! (Sorry, I deleted that comment so as not to go off topic and get in trouble.)
The witches in my books for children are like what is described as the information you provided - mostly inspired from 'Kiki's Delivery Service' (love-love that movie.)
I'm so glad to know that the pentagram is as I've always thought it was: Good.

This quest is so beautiful*.*. I want to have some of these items (terrarium, night theme clothing...) in real life.^^
This is why I save DB, but now I'm wishing I saved up feez. I really want both endings! So now I don't know which one to choose

I will have to say that my doll LOREENAMCDANE will love this quest! (which is a doll inspired by Loreena McKinnett)
This quest reminds me of Kiki's Delivery service :D
Am I the only one having trouble getting into the room, it wont open with I click on it...
I, too, like the items in this quest, and will do it over the weekend. (How DOES Feerik know when I've saved just enough $$ to do another quest?)
When I saw the theme, I thought of Rowena from "Supernatural," although she would probably only wear a couple of the clothing items that come with this one. Tempted to buy a red wig, just to re-create her for my loft.
Those packs ... I can't tell you the number of quests that have come up where I didn't want to do the whole quest, but one step had items I would've loved to have. Not sure I would've shelled out fee'z for them, but I'm really glad the option to only buy the gifts from each step is available.

This is the only way to get into the room until they fix it. http://us.ohmydollz.com/board/viewtopic.php?id=10769
I really want Trelawney, but I don't want to do all the quest

Oh, this is really pretty! So many of the items are so whimsical and beautiful, and I really like 'modern witch' fashion that's popular right now, so I'm glad I caught this quest in time to play! It really suits my taste. And lol aww at the Trelawney doll, too.
Question:
Do you get the room extension if you buy a pack that gives the room while already owning the room?

Hmmm. Great question. I have a feeling that's not the case but will give it a try when I log in tonight.
