Step 1: Spirit are you there?

I am one of these people who is neither superstitious nor interested in any kind of spirituality. People say I am logical and rational. Things like ghosts, haunted manors and paranormal stories are not for me.
First, I don't see why ghosts should always be nasty, second, now that all around the world, people are connected and share tons of data and videos, why has no one ever seen a ghost dancing tango on Youtube.
And, when I imagine that all these ghosts (there must be an awful lot now) spend there time watching us, I have quite an unpleasant feeling.
I must admit, I do shiver a little when I think about it, without really knowing why and I don't watch certain movies knowing that I won't be able to go to sleep for weeks...
Anyway, the fact is that Halloween is coming soon and I still don't have a disguise plus I don't know what I'm gonna do on that very particular night...
For the moment, I've decorated my loft, I've bought plenty of sweets and I've started emptying that huge pumpkin to make up a horrible candle light.

Step 2: Boo!

So you might wonder why my best friend is one of these people who are superstitious, fond of spirituality and who has witnessed plenty of paranormal phenomena.
I don't know. Lucie as been my best friend since we were kids and even if the stories she tells scare me or make me laugh, I just love her.
Except when she tries to frighten me by telling me horrible tales while we are driving through the woods, when we come back from work. Things such as:
Did you now the White Lady was seen once, just here?
To this I always answer the same thing:
Do you realize that if I wasn't driving, I would make you eat your stupid White Lady!
That doesn't stop her from insisting a little:
You shouldn't say things like that. That is fully disrespectful and her ghost might very well call for revenge!! Have you seen "The Exorcist"?
Stop it!!
No need to say that on Halloween, Lucie loves when we disguise and end up all sitting in a circle, in he dark, with candles all around, telling each other scary stories. The thing is, I often get bored and end up day-dreaming...

Step 3: Vlad

This year, Lucie has a very precise idea for Halloween. She has told me about a guy named Vlad who lives in an old manor, in the north of OhMyDollz city.
I remember this manor, it frightened me when I came back from school. I used to stay very far from it. Sometimes, through the windows I could see strange inhabitants. They seemed to slide around the place.
Vlad is mystical. I met him once at an occult science class. He's really cute, Lucie told me.
Mystical, cute... that could be interesting.
Annoyed, I ask her:
Hey, what's that thing about occult science classes? She smiles as an answer and starts looking for material to make her disguise.
She wants to wear an inflamed dress with huge black wings.
I had thought about a witch costume for myself. Classical, I know but I like witches, the pretty and mystical ones, of course, not the ugly, terrifying ones...

Step 4: Strange interlude



Lucie nearly made me go crazy! We spent at least four hours looking for our costumes and accessories!
She says I must absolutely meet Vlad, she doesn't stop speaking of him. Not like a girl who's has a crush but like the girl who'd like her friend to go out with him, if you see what I mean... She's kind of stubborn.
Once, I'm home, I feed Lulu, my hamster and run a bath with my favorite Tiara bubble bath.
The water is burning hot,so hot it looks like it was boiling. Suddenly I see a red drop and rapidly all the water becomes red, blood-red, I can't see my body anymore.
I'm so panicked I rush out of the bath. I feel I'm gonna faint, I'm so hot!!!
On the floor there are tracks as if some creature covered with blood had walked all around the bathroom.
I'm so terrified I cannot call for help. Then there is that noise on the mirror, as if someone was writing one it.
SCREAM
I eventually manage to scream and wake up in the bath. Just a nightmare!
Sometimes I hate my imagination.

Lucie has managed to convince me: tonight we are gonna spend the evening at her friend Vlad's place and prepare things for the Halloween party.
The entrance of the manor is gloomy. The door is huge and all rusty, it makes a hell of a noise when you push it. I know, it's a cliché but still...
As I walk to the huge stairs, I feel impressed and all shy. Lucie enters naturally and tells me to follow her.
The interior is classy as long as you like that kind of style.
It's huge, isn't it? asks Lucie with a kind of hysteric voice.
I shiver, and feel there is someone behind me.
A gorgeous guy is standing there. He has dark black hair, very pale skin and beautiful eyes with a piercing look.
When he smiles to us, I have the impression he has little sharp teeth...
Lucie, he says with a sweet but domineering voice. He's got a strong aura.Vlad!
Lucie runs to him like a kid and turns to me.
Here is , you know, my best friend!
I smile shyly. Why am I so impressed?
It's difficult to guess how old he is.

I don't know why but I'm not really reassured when I feel him slipping behind me.

I have a strange feeling when we are in front of the mirror, it's as if we were two and not three.…
We spend the whole evening preparing the manor for guests. When everything is ready for the next day, we sit down in front of the chimney.
Lucie suddenly disappears.
Hey, don't leave me alone!
There is just me and my new "friend". I feel uncomfortable. As if he could read in me. I have nothing to say to him.
He gets up and grabs a pack of tarot cards.

When we arrive at Vlad's place, my heart goes crazy! I hope I'm not falling in love with that strange guy so different from me!
Sometimes I find myself so annoying!
At some stage he invites me to dance. I feel so good when I'm close to him, he seems to calm me down.
I don't care about the people around, there is just him and me dancing to the music.
We spend the whole evening together. Vlad tells me about his passion for paranormal phenomena and I must say I am kind of interested.
I have the feeling I will never be able to leave him and his manor, as if I was enchanted...
