Step 1: Formation of the group

When we finished middle school, I and my friends told each other that we would meet years later. Today is the big day! I am waiting for them outside, on the terrace of a cafe. They arrived a few minutes later. We started talking hours about our lives and remembered our dream: to form a rock band. I don't know if it was because of the excitement or because of the caffeine increase in our system, but we decided to realize our dream! We will all get together in my garage for our first rehearsal! Yeah!

Step 2: Rehearsal

We are all fired up this morning! On this occasion, I decorated my garage into an British pop atmosphere and the girls were thrilled! The role of each member came naturally, we each took our old places back: Lucy at the bass, Laurianne at the drum set, Alice at the electric guitar, at the folk guitar and me as lead singer. We started rehearsal: "3, 4, lalalalalala lala lalala...? We are the same as we were at middle school, without the braces...
Unfortunately, our neighbor doesn't really appreciate our music style and makes it clear by sending us regularly an extremely attractive nice officer, who asks us to turn the volume down. He does seem to like or music, he even admitted today being our number one fan.

Step 3: First concert

It seems that someone downtown believes in our talent! We are therefore going to do our first gig! We are going to call ourselves the Dollz N'Roses! To be sure that there will be as many people as possible we created an event on Face-The-Book and distribute some fliers. A couple hours before our grand debut I am starting to get butterflies in the stomach, I am afraid that I will be petrified and unable to sing before an audience of a hundred people that will be there tonight. And what if they hate us? And what if they were to throw rotten tomatoes at us? And what if I were to collapse on stage? Grrrr, I shouldn't think of the worse, everything is going to be fine, the girls promised!

Step 4: First record

Our concert was a success! The crowd was going crazy, I have never felt like this before, it was incredible! And after the concert, a record company asked us to sign a contract with them! We are going to record our first album! It was incredible! There is still lots to be done, we are missing a few songs to complete our album. We are going to need some coffee!

Step 5: TV Show

We are fine young ladies and all fan of the famous TV show Gossip Dollz, featuring young and wealthy New-Yorkers. There is nothing out of the ordinary until now. Except that our agent just called me to tell me that he had found "the opportunity of a lifetime". I really didn't expected him to tell us that we were going to play in one of the episodes as the Dollz N'Roses! Me and the girls are so excited that we don't know if we will be able to refrain from being hysterical when we get face to face with the actors!

Step 6: Beginning of success

New-York is magical! The actors of the show are adorable, they all bough our CD and are going to tell their friends about us. Our hard work payed off, our first record is a big success, it has become the hit of the summer! Everybody is dancing to the tunes of our song on the beaches! Our song "Fashion and freedom" has been playing nonstop on radio, and yet, each time one of us hears it, we scream just like we got our ACT scores! Despite tinsel and glamour, we haven't changed a bit!

Our success is now international! And we are off for our world Tour! For the occasion I learned our hit song in multiple languages and I must confess that I am a bit struggling with Mandarin... Upon our arrival at the hotel I thought I was saying "merci beaucoup" to the doorman, but what I said instead was "you are pretty"!... I keep my fingers crossed for tonight! Making a living from my passion in band with my besties, that's all I ever dreamt off! Hearing thousands of people through the word singing our song is so intoxicating. I am really happy!
