I love this quest, it’s absolutely beautiful!
Ugh I just wish they wouldn’t make so many of the new dollz only with milky skin, it would have been awesome if they just gave us multiple copies of the really pretty swimmer in different skin tones as part of the quest, instead I have to spend an extra 299$$$ in the flash store just to have her with brown skin :/ it’s still thoughtful Though.
And Is it just me or is that other doll from the game of thrones mini quest? It looks like they removed her scar and changed her make up lol

What I want to know is why Sanji is the only one piece character in this quest!
It took me to look the name up of Sanji to tell me you were referring to the anime One Piece, Haelina...To answer your question, it's probably because they had other One Piece characters in the quest where you get the Fort room; like Luffy and Ace (I think, I'm not a fan of the anime so I can only guess going by their look. Well, I know who Luffy is, I'm just not good at naming the others...) You can find them in my alt doll's [Sarahspells] room Star Villa.
Anyway, the prizes for this quest are super pretty. I'm gonna have to cover up the top to that one mermaid with the guy, though. The 'male' Ariel is cute, so is Flounder (you got Sebastian the crab from the Fort room quest last year, too.)
It would definitely be nice if they did offer the models in different skin tones, I believe that 'variety is the spice of life' - I have two accounts that need more dark-skinned girls.
I thought the model at the end of the quest also looked familiar...

I love this quest! Pity they gave body-parts sale so close to this quest :(
And yes - the doll on the end is familiar to this one >>

Why put this room in the Film tab? Could of put it in the Trip tab, by moving the submarine room over... just saylng..
It looks very pretty I like most of it (except for the two that seem to be cuddling) But that's an OPINION. I will be deleting that one.
Its a wonderful quest!
I have made a Questguide on German board, its the wrong language for you, but maybe it can be useful for some players until you get your own quest guide on this board:

absolutely love this quest! Is it just me or does the mermaid in ending one look like Shirahoshi from One Piece? Aww love ending 2 as well because of Sanji but I love the room more

Now that you pointed it out she does. I forgot about her until you brought it up. I actually forgot about a lot of One Piece characters. I love this quest and can't wait to use the items to update my other mermaid room and the new one.
Oh true there was the quest that gave Ace and Luffy earlier too!
And she does look like Shirahoshi omg! haha so true! Tho she is a bit on the small side xP
Now lets hope we get Zoro soon too then I am sooo dedicating a room to one piece!
I hope we get Zoro soon too He is my favorite character <3
It took forever but the quest guide is finally done!
Also, my life would have been so much easier if Feerik just stopped changing the prices of the required items days later. The first day I did the quest it was $259 total and now it's $265. That's a rather big change, isn't it?
Anyway, full guide here - https://us.ohmydollz.com/board/viewtopi … 34#p339934
Short version:
1. The Greeks
2. to attract sailors to the bottom of the ocean
3. Copenhagen
4. her voice
5. Atlantide
6. Fiona
2 endings
New room - Ocean (only with the left ending)
213 $$$ for one ending
Total: 265 $$$ + 150 Fee'z
THIS IS MY ALL-TIME FAVORITE QUEST!!!! I am so in love with the ocean, and the room + music box fits right at home.
Hmm, well I certainly love the items in the quest. Agree 100% that they are absolutely gorgeous.
However, the translations . . .
Mermaids are known as the Greeks? Run on my bicycle? I've only just started the quest but really? REALLY???
I suppose that the mermaids here are supposed to be based on greecian sirens. But weren't the sirens a sort of bird women? Their songs to dash sailors on the rocks, not the bottom of the sea. I know modern media royally twists all the old legends up both to be original and from misunderstandings.
(Okay, practically finished the quest now, only a few pointless more quibbles I won't mention so you all are spared!)
I don't know why after all these years playing, I keep expecting better. Sarah & co put so much effort into all the rooms and items giving us beautiful things to buy. It makes me feel ungrateful. And yet...
I wonder if there was supposed to have been a job with this? I want to continue the warrior quest and find out who did this to my father! (And is that Sanji-like figure supposed to be the father? Did someone capture him?!?!?)
You can read what happened with the other side of the story by checking out Rheasilvia's guide.
Yes, you are correct, sirens were ugly bird-like women. However, I've read several different mermaid stories (Big fan of fairy tales, here) and mermaids have also sunk ships and drowned men. I consider them part of the neutral fairy creature class, as opposed to evil or good. They can either choice to help land-dwellers/sailors, or decide to leave them to drown. Supposedly mermaids are more likely to drown men simply because the men fall head-over-heels in love with their beauty that they try to follow the mermaids - to their DOOM - and the mermaids don't realize that the men can't breath under water.
Also, I wouldn't be surprised that mermaids and sirens still get mixed up is because some languages spell 'mermaid' similar to 'siren':
French - sirène
Italian - sirena
For the translation? Yeah, I think most of us agree that the French team simply use Google Translate and copies and pastes it into the box without fixing any of those minor errors - since one word in another language can have many meanings in another and convey quite the opposite when placed in a sentence. 'Ran towards the coast on my bike' should have been 'rode towards the coast on my bike', but 'ran' and 'rode' can have similar meanings, even if they aren't the same type of verb. (I sound like an English teacher, oh my!)

@lady0filia: not to mention in portuguese, where the word for mermaid is "sereia" and the manatees (that's what "peixe-boi" is called in english, right?), wich are said to have inspired the legend of the mermaids, belong to a taxonomic order whose portuguese name is "sirênios" so... yeah...
EDIT: In case anyone wants to know this quest's plot without need to read through that translation (a bit late, but...):
1: Your father is a marine biologist, his boat went missing, you rush to the sea.
2: Your father was exploring a cave near a beach where you played as a kid. You remember a sad music box song.
3: You find the beach, get close to the water, see your reflection, then something emerges.
4: Your twin mermaid drags you to the sea, you think you'll drown, but turns out you can breath underwater. You both go to the seabed in search of sunken treasures.
5: It is hard to follow the mermaid with your human legs. You are in the middle of a familiar-looking reef. You learn that it is your father's sunken ship (named after your mother). It looks like the ship exploded.
6: You find yourself in a cave. It is filled with old things, including things that belonged to you and your family. You notice that the mermaid is your twin sister. You can't belive your father's ship's sinking was an accident. You have to choose between finding out who caused the "accident" (7B) or forgetting it and moving on (7A).
7A: You assume your father is gone, let it go, and explore the ocean with your newfound sister.
7B: You belive some corrupt business decided to get rid of your father (who was a seabed protection activist) and you'll avenge him.
