Flipping Move

I just don't get what's the point of flipping a clothing on your doll when you can't change the position of her (flip the doll.) I mean it has no meaning. You can flip and object and it's perfectly fine but flipping a clothing item doesn't really make sense to me.

Re: Flipping Move

Yeah I know what u mean it will be good if we can change the doll position as we do with clothes.

Re: Flipping Move

If you have dolls that you win during a adventure quest you can flip them.

Re: Flipping Move

I noticed something that I was able to do with that new tool as well as flipping, and that was to rotate it. (making the object leaning at an angle instead of just flipping it)  And I think as far as the flipping clothing, maybe it could work when you would layer certain items of clothing to achieve the look you are looking for.

That is what I do.
To achieve the desired look with the symmetry tool you need to rotate it and play with it until it fits your likings.

Re: Flipping Move

I disagree.

I can name some of the uses the flipping tool. If, that is, you would care to hear them! :3 Anyways, enough waffle.

Firstly, mannequins, adventure dollz (e.g, the ones from the Best Friend adventure, if you can remember back a year and a bit of MDD & OMD like me :P) can also be flipped, so we can display them in our loft as other people, or just for showing off our style.

Secondly, even if the uses are not amazing for our dollz, they sure are for the furniture! I've always been longing to flip my deco around...my wish came true! I'm sure it did for a fair amount of other divas, too.

And finally...it's kinda fun to see the world from a different perspective. Or is that just me being a weirdo? xD I've seen plently of people flipping accesories, for example, having a bow on the other side of the dollz' head. It's simple moves like this that can complete an outfit! :)

P.S, Sorry if my rant bored you a little. Or...a lot. xD Anyway - Angel out. x

Re: Flipping Move

I've had an idea floating in my head as to what we can do with the rotate tool. Has anyone thought about flipping all of their furniture upside down? if all of the furniture was upside down then your doll would look like she is walking on the ceiling! mdr

Re: Flipping Move

I think it might also have something to do with coding. It's got to be easier to make all things we purchase - clothes, furniture, earrings, etc - flip rather than just furniture.
