Player keeps annoying me

The player ************ keeps sending me napporpiate messages and comments on my page. I already reported her, and now she started commenting on my page. She is using p*rn (i think i need to censure myself because of the young players here,that`s why i wrote like that) words. I think she should be banned. As i know, we are not allowed to do things lime that

-Sigh- It's a shame there are those kinds of people out there... You did the right thing in reporting her. It does take a bit for a report to get processed, so for the time being, just ignoring her messages.
There isn't much else we can do for now, sorry dear.

Reports about players should not be made on the message board. Send one of the moderators a Private Note within the game.

If you need to report a player, make sure you do not delete any offending notes or gossip until a moderator has seen them (or you have taken screen shots.)

I know that individuals who choose to harrass others do so to give themselves a sense of power or it makes them feel good, but it does get old. And there are times that reporting them (whether for porn or an inappropiate name) or reporting them for harrassing, sometimes doesn't help.

In the area that I live, there are small businesses who have signs in front of their stores which they can use individual letters to "spell out" a message of maybe what is on sale that day or just a pleasant message. And at those stores, if someone passes a bad check, they will put the name of that individual on that sign so that as you go about your life, driving by that store... you would read: So & So wrote a bad check here. That is embarrassing to the one who gave them a bad check and it should prompt them to not do something like that again. Sometimes that individual will write that check, knowing full well they have no money in their account. Other times, it's an oversight... an accident.

What I wish would happen here, would be to have a list of names of individuals who are known to harrass others. Would it make them stop? I really don't know. I know that there would never be such a list. But you know what... it really gets old. And it seems that the "target" often times are the dolls in the top 100 or if not there, dolls who are not children but adults who spend a lot of time decorating their lofts and they actually spend a lot of money doing so. Those players, the ones who do spend the RL money... those are probably the ones that keep this "free" game afloat.

To the one who keeps telling me to "get a life... get a job... stop playing a kid's game... I won't vote for you..." I have a message: "Little girl, grow up and shut up. Show some respect and perhaps you might have more friends."

If there is someone talking to you like that, please report it to a moderator. We cant help you if you don't tell us. I believe telling a moderator is more effective than going to their who am I and clicking report abuse. We are more likely to respond first.
You could get in trouble as well for responding negatively (not saying that you did though)

Trust me... I've sent reports to the mods about certain people. Most usually, more times than not, I will get a response back from the mod. Very rarely, do I not.

I have been in a moderator role in the past at other boards and one of the reason I don't report each and every harrasser to a mod is that I understand that sometimes it can be overwhelming getting so many PM's, it can actually become more like a job with a headache than something that is supposed to be fun and relaxing.

During the time that they were looking for new moderators, I considered actually applying but I guess at this time in my life... I don't need more stress, headaches and people to hate me than what I already have. Perhaps next time that need arises... I might... who knows.

And my reply back to those individuals when I choose to handle it myself, is not done in a negative manner. It's just the plain truth.
