Is the Site Down?

I somehow managed to access the message board, but the site itself seems to be down?

For me, it's been down for almost 2.5-3 hours. Same for my mother. I'm assuming the site is down for other people as well?

I'm not sure what's happening, as no "Server Busy" sign comes up when I try to load the page. I just get a blank white screen.

So, I thought if anyone else is able to access the forum (but not the game) and is trying to find information on what's happening...I have no idea, but I'll be up quite late tonight monitoring and waiting for the site to return. Let's hope it's soon.

At least now I know it's most likely all of us affected. I'm sitting here refreshing my computer every few minutes. Like I say, it's been about 3 hours now (for me, since I noticed.)

I thought it's my computer's problem. I'm glad to know that some of us experience the same thing and to know that my computer is in great condition :)

But still, hope the site will be fixed soon ~

I know how you feel, sis00. I was worried my (old and archaic) computer had maybe gotten a virus or something else that was preventing me from loading the site.

Once I found out my mom was having the same problem, I had a feeling we weren't the only ones not able to load the site. Once I found I could get to the board, I figured I should make a post so at least those of us who can connect can know we're not alone! :)

That being said, I know a new work day begins soon (if not already) for the OMD team, so I'm hoping the site will be back up soon.

Of course, I've been hoping that for about 7 hours now. Still, I'm keeping faith and hopefully soon. (Hopefully!) :D

I had it before, but it seems it's fixed. Could it have been maintenance? Or just a problem with the server?

You are now able to access the game now, rarity?

It's still down on my end. :(

As for why it was down, I have no idea. You would think if they were planning on doing maintenance they would have given us a head's up like most sites do. I'm still left waiting for the site to come back.

I have more hope it'll be soon, though, now that I know at least one person has been able to access the game since my last post. :)

It's working perfectly fine for me. 'Tis a bit slow at times but other than that, It is fine... That's quite strange.

What browser are you using? I'm using IE, my mother uses Firefox. For me it's still not working.

All of Feerik's other games seem to working, too.

I just hope whatever it is will be over soon (before rollover, at the very least.)

I know what you mean...I'm having some fears too about reliving "The Event" on here. I did check to see if Feerik's other games are up (which they are.) Man, if "it" happens again I will Fuh-lip!!! Lol

I think those of us who lived through Dec 1/2010 are having similiar fears...hopefully fears that will soon prove unwarrented.

I hope you are right Willow. It does get kinda scary at times to think about it all over again. But back to a positive note, lets hope everything is okay soon.

Well, I was just able to get the Spanish site to open up, but so far that is the only one.

It did make me feel a bit better to see the game still exists somewhere. Lol Bodes well for us. :)

I'm looking forward to what we are (if anything) told about what happened today. Like I said, it's been about 10 hours for me since the site went down.

It's nice I have the board to access at least. I don't feel so alone now. Lol

UPDATE: At 4:07 am the site has finally come up.

Is it working now for everyone else???

I use Firefox. Would it help to say I was using a Mac?

No, I don't think that affects things (although some might disagree. Lol) Usually just broswer is good.

If this was maintenance, I really think they should have given us a warning that it would be happening.

My guess is it was an unexpected server issue, but I guess we'll have to wait and see if any explanation is given.

I hope it is working again for everyone. I will close this post tomorrow if no one else reports an issue related to this odd event.
