Trying to read This Fleeting World by David Christian...It's the book I keep falling asleep with after reading a paragraph

It's taken me a month to get to page 16 and there's 92 pages. And my report on the essay questions is due Tuesday. AND to top it off my 4 day weekend is going to be filled with volunteering at the ISNA convention (Google it since I dont think I can say what it's about)
