Daniel:

After hanging around for a minute, I leaped out the window and went for a little stroll. Chances were I wouldn't make it through the night without 'changing' And I'd rather be outside for that. Fel's dad would just absolutely kill me for making a mess. I got the feeling he wanted to anyway, for various reasons.
So I ran out to the forest, already feeling the 'change' coming. I'd probably be back at dawn, that was early enough to be back for whatever Mr. Devney wanted.

Vana:
"Don't say that! There will be someone who will be able to embrace every bit of you. We just have to find them. Marshmallow?" I asked getting a bag out of the cabinet and popping one in my mouth.

I gave her a few and kept the rest for myself. "Yes I have, and you are a very unique young woman. Whoever finds you will be in for an eternity of fun. As your mother, I've dealt with you enough to know you."

I looked at Char. "She says it's OK,"
"Then let's go. I'm sure Dylan will be more than capable of looking after Cathy while we are gone. I will send him the message," he kissed my temple as he went to get his phone, giving me her keys back.
I sighed as I clutched it, feeling the cold metal dig into the palm of my hand. "I'm sorry, sweetie, but you leave us no other choice," I whisper to my hand.
"It's done. He says he'll keep her there until we come back. You okay?" I look over at Char's worried face, and think to myself that he almost does look like he's pushing thirty. Then I remind myself that that cannot be.
"I'll.. be OK," I manage a small smile as he hugged me to him.
"She'll be fine. I know it," he whispered into my hair as I made a portal for us.

Vana:
"Do you want to bet on that? I am not asking you if you'll find the perfect someone. I am saying you will."

Val:
"Zoye!!" I greeted her as she came in. "Char, how's it going?"

(he won't even question it)

Kywan:

I countered her money as dad walked in. He looked from the money on the table, to mom and I, and went on getting himself an apple and sitting down.

Kywan:

Dad took out a little brown bag, put the money in it, and tied it off. "May I ask that you're better on now? The last bet almost ended bloody in my end when sucks crossed the line AT THE SAME TIME." He put emphasis on the last part because I swore my duck crossed the line first.

Kywan:

He reached into his jacket pocket and pulled out a notepad and ball point pen.
"My duck won. Just saying." I muttered.

Justin:

"Kywan may be right this time," I mumbled.
"There won't." Kywan said to her firmly.

Justin:

I wrote it down and replied, "Have you met her?"
Kywan laughed hard.

Kywan:

"Money for true love."

Kywan:

"Oh that'd be great mom! You can't pay somebody enough to love me." I laughed hard and heard some russeling down the hall. "I think I woke the one with a crush up."
