I decided to remain silent. I felt bad for Daniel, but ... for some reason, what I felt more was proud for Matt. He was and always will be the best leader... The way he was handling this even with the pain I knew he was harboring, it was ... amazing...

The men searched high and low in the area Matthew pointed us to and eventually found the hiding place. We started a fierce attack and even called for reinforcements. I was not going to let Felicia slip from between my fingers again.
"How I wish Lucian and the others were here..." I murmured. We'd have been done by now. I decided to mentally call for Dante and Kane. You two... I need your help so I'd appreciate you come over to my spot. Just like the old days.

I heard the call from Sylvain. I kissed Stef. "There's some trouble that required my assistance."

I looked to Stef and shrugged. "Your funeral son. Let's go. Now."
I grabbed him and tracked Sylvain.

(Varky it'll be there for a year lol so please, still make the Halloween one ^^ all is good. I don't like many holidays as is and my current one I've had for 2 years.)

Kane:

I started shooting my gun, hitting every target I aimed at. I stayed low to the ground and away from view, but I was worried about everyone else.

My head started to hurt and I was having trouble getting up. If I was closer I'd probably would've been a goner. Anyone who was closer to the man from before was down. I couldn't even warn Al, for fear of them tracking his whereabouts. I couldn't protect myself from an attack like that but if I stayed far behind...Maybe.
