"Let's see there should be some dull blades here." I saw some long wooden sticks. "Here take this." I said handing him one and I taking one as well. "This shouldn't hurt much but let's try it."

"Um... sure? What, use practice blades or something?" I ask, "I dunno 'bout you but I could still die from battle wounds, y'know."

"Of course practice blades! Are you kidding me? That's not even a question!" I exclaimed putting my sword away and taking one of the blades we use when practicing, "You do know I am easily distracted right? I can't risk hurting you, Bec."

My voice softened towards the end a bit. It was scaring me at times that I could lose him. We weren't exactly leading normal lives. Ever since I found out I was Poseidon's daughter, life had gone crazy. Like really crazy. And what's funny is...The day before I started the new school and met Bec and the others, all I was worrying about was fitting in and whether I had gained a little weight.

Daniel:
The way she stood and carried herself was of a veteran soldier. It was somewhat strange seeing a teenage girl so battle-oriented. I wasn't sure if I was doing it correctly or not, but I took a swing at her.

I easily side stepped and let him pass by without touching me. I then put my stick on his back. "You're dead. Keep yourself balanced so you have more time to get back. Don't put all your strength in your weapon. Keep your feet apart and never get them close together. Pretend your walking while carrying a huge boulder between your legs. Even when you're going towards your opponent, don't bring your feet close to each other. Keep them a little apart. Also just a small tip, stay on your toes. It adds a bounce and makes it easier to change direction."

I step away and let my scythe disappear, taking a wooden staff instead.

I smiled a little, "Come on. You know I totally meant to do that. I've always been one for dramatic entrances and exits." I took my position, trying to remember everything he taught me and then started *trying* to attack him.

Daniel:
I smirked a little at her, "Not bad...It would see I'm lucky to learn from you, daughter of Artemis." I got lighter on my feet and tried to attack her again.

This time he almost hit me but I moved just in time. "Hmm You have good posture. Just try to turn faster."

Turn Faster I made a mental note for myself. After a few minutes of training, it felt like we were almost dancing on our feet. A rather dangerous dance if this had been a real fight, but the movements were quite the same.
I stood back catching my breath. "You're a rather good teacher."

"Thank you. I take pride in this. It's an art not many appreciate." I smiled. "You've been using bow staffs, now we'll use actual swords. They're dulled so don't worry." I slid my hand up the knife and showed him that it didn't cut.

I hmmed in response. I was trying to calculate all of the possibilities. What if that Chiron decided not to help? Where would I get all of the information? How will I find those who kidnapped Leon and how will I make sure they're dead?
I took one of the swords she referred to and took my stance.

After a few minutes, I asked smiling, "You're enjoying yourself, aren't you?" I knew he wasn't even trying to attack me. He was just allowing me to attack him.

"It's hard not to think." I said before letting out a sigh and stopping.

"You have to take a breath. We're going to get your brother. Now you have to be able to trust us and let loose your worries." I said setting my weapons down. "Overthinking won't get you anywhere. Especially in a fight. You have to take in your opponent and figure out strategies. Try to use their strengths to your advantage as well as their weaknesses."
