"If I were to press that blade against myself, wouldn't I bleed? That's pretty human to me. What is the point of having those powerful almighty parents if all we get is trouble? And not only that but we endanger those who care about. And more often than not our 'powers' are negligible against those endangering our and our loved ones' lives."

I sigh. "Why does everyone ask that? We got what's been given. What's the point in questioning any part of our existence? Not everyone endangers their loved ones. If they work with the power given to us, then we can save them before anything bad happened."

I didn't say anything. It amused me that she and her friends seemed quite content with their lives. Then, again, it didn't seem like they had others on the line.

Lau:
I pouted childishly as I poked him exclaiming "Evil Evil Evil!" And with that, I crossed my arms and said, "Now put me down."

I didn't respond again. I honestly wasn't sure what she expected me to say to that. Only then the blonde girl we met earlier, Annabeth, I think, came into the training area, "Percy wants to talk to you. All of you."

I looked over at Daniel. "Alright. Let's go then?'" Annabeth led us to where Percy was and we waited for him to talk.

Daniel:
Said Percy was walking up and down the Poseidon's cabin when we entered the room. As soon as he saw we were all in there, he quickly closed the door and made sure all of the windows were closed.
Annabeth sighed and said, "I still think this is a bad idea."
"I know. Then again...I'm sure they'll want to know. And knowing Lauren, if she's anything like me, she'll want to leave on this mission."
"You should be a better role model, seaweed brain."
"Once a sea weed brain. Always a sea weed brain."
I cleared my throat, "Mind getting to the point?"
Percy sighed and said, "We over heard Chiron talking to Mr. D. It seems like...well...it's kinda dangerous to give the scroll to those kidnappers."

My jaw dropped. "No kidding. If it was money or related I'd understand, but this scroll is something else. Who thought of actually giving the scroll itself?"

Percy gave her a look, "If you interrupt me again, I might forget what I wanted to say." He looked back at us and continued, "The scroll is a map to a secret tomb where the remains of the first oracle was buried. Apparently, whoever goes there can find the source that gave the first oracle her ... psychic powers."

Annabeth was the one to answer, "Yup. What is worrying us is that once the kidnappers figure out that Olympus is not planning on trading the kid for the scroll, they might kill the kid and attempt to find the scroll themselves somehow....Soooo...We think that you should get the scroll...and use it as bait."
