The before hand and the full wedding ceremony plus everything that goes into preparations!
116
I learned a lot from Bride Wars. :P
117 lolz.
The thing is...Egypt has always been an Arabic country with other influences...Like the Turkish and the American...So, I do know some things but I'm sure a lot more are different.
118
I know that in the Turkish weddings the boys and the girls party separately. I think that's cool. c:

118 In Egypt, we could reach about five or six parties on four on two to four days!
- Engagement Party (Those could be as big as a wedding!) Usually around a year before the marriage and that's when dating is usually encouraged.
- Legal Marriage( Like Amary said with Imam and family and so on) with a simple white dress usually.
- Bachelor and Bachelorette Parties...But there would be no strippers, alcohol or things like that. There would be DJs and dancing and games and things like that.
- The wedding and that could last for hours...and ohmy...They have so many options!

Gaaah I'm coming to your wedding too, Darky!
120 lolz. You, girls, should be my first guests!!!
I'll try to post a complete list of the process later, but for now...I can show you some pics.
Some girls just wear the normal wedding dresses like those in the US, but if she's wearing hijab, some adjustments are made....I'll try to find those.

In our culture it's the same. For the actual wedding they normally wear something simple, in pastel colors or pure white. For the photo shoot and party they wear traditional western gowns (with some adjustment like you said), the colors don't matter. :D
122 No in Egypt, it's almost always white, off-white, rose or light blue...I've seen red though...But it's usually white...Since it's a symbol for happiness.
This is an example of an Engagement dress.
123 That's gorgeous. :D
124 I've seen much better ones...especially in my family, but god they are so hard to find!!!
A friend of mine wore something similar to Prom:
I think Spanish Hijab is more common in Egypt than elsewhere?

125
Those are really good! :D
In ours, the bride normally wears something like this for the legal wedding;
It's a requirement to cover the hair and arms while doing it, even for the brides who don't wear hijab then.
126
Beautiful!!! I'll try to find some of ours....They look different.
In Egypt, not really...Christians of course don't have to. Others sometimes don't, but it's preferred out of modesty. But all in all everyone is modest.
This is a famous actress and singer. She's one of my favorites ever. Has an amazing voice and is very funny.

127 She's so pretty! :D Why are all of Egypt so pretty?!
128 Well...we are normal...The thing is...there are all sorts of egytpian looks...There are downright blondes, there are those with dark skin...But most people are like her and me...That weird combination between Spanish, Italian and Greek.
This guy is one of my favorite actors ever...He's like Depp but different. He's a rapper, but acts, too. He usually likes to take characters that are so far apart, sometimes plays more than one in the series or the movie.

129 He's hot!! Our actors are crap. They don't look good at all and most of them can't even do it right. Except the oldies. The oldies are cool. :P
130 We have some who...just suck. and others who are amazing!!!
This guy here is a singer. His voice is not bad, but I don't like him that much.

Ohoho he looks like a Greek gladiator. :P

You guys all have some pretty traditions ._.
I'm FIlipino-Chinese and all I can really think of that's fairly pretty is the Filipino old-style courtship where the guy sings to the girl as she looks on or something:
Old Filipino courtship/dating was really conservative. Everywhere the couple goes, a chaperon has to come and they *must* have at least a foot of space between them. No flirting and the girl always hides her face behind a fan. I find it sweet.
Chinese marriage kinda freaks me out because of the one time I asked why my gramma's feet were so small and apparently our culture states that small feet are pretty but it's all just a ploy so that girls would bind their feet so they can't run from marriages O_O
131 Xemo that's sweeeet! We actually still have those...kinda...So when two people 'date' after engagements, they always have a chaperone.
Some families may allow them to go out alone, but it has to be a public place.
My friends all swoon when they see this guy here. He's an actor.

131 I actually like him because he's funny...I like his laugh.
