I'm actually using NaNo to work on a TMI fanfic that's been shuffling around my head for a while. It also links back to Cecily and Gabriel from TID.

Good job! I haven't even started my daily wordcount yet xD I prefer writing at night, though. Apparently that's my 'writing time'. It's only 6:42pm for me.

I'd love to read yours too once it's finished!

It's 00:19 here, and my writing time is at night as well. :D I started writing at around 10 pm and just wrote until I reached around 5400. :D

Pssh, mine is horrible and unedited, so I'll most probably be posting it on Tumblr or Figment after I edit it.. next year. :P

I'm doing the writing when ever I can really. With all this homework and stuff...I don't know if I'll be able to finish it.
I just have the main beginning plot so I'm just going to Roleplay my way into the whole thing. My strategy for now :)

Ooh that's a cool strategy Angel!
To get myself writing, I always memorize (or put up on my page here so that I can see it every time I'm daily voting or doing the rooms) a motivational quote from Authors who weren't successful their first, second, or even 11 times before they got their big break. It helps to know that there's victory beyond failures. :)

I have been doing okay I guess. I do meet the daily quota but I barely go over it. Wanting. To. Write. More. -.-

I have been having trouble with plotting my chapters, and deciding how many scenes should I include per chapter. Because I failed to plot them, I have been skipping over scenes a lot. I'm gonna have to do a lot of editing when I'm done. D:

See, that's why I love fanfiction. It doesn't really matter if you have a solid plot, as long as the characters match the originals and there's angst and smut, you can pretty much get away with any storyline you want. xD

So my thing for chapters is that if I can end the scene with a cool end phrase, then that would be my chapter close. You can have as many chapters as needed there is no limit. I've read 500 pg books that have a 5 chapters right as soon as you turn the page.

I used to write so much stuff, but I just haven't had the time anymore. However, I'm writing my first fanfic on Fanfiction.net. Its only 5 chapters but I have 5 reviews already. Currently brainstorming my next big novel.

Uhh... is it really crazy that yesterday I started again? My story was just so boring that I couldn't go on so I started a new, more interesting one. It's actually a lot easier to write for but it's put me quite far behind on my wordcount :(

I had to re write my story 3 times. Each time I ended up writing about myself and I didn't want that. I thin using the weekend to catch up though is a good idea (if you aren't that busy of course)
Just sit down one saturday (and/or sunday) and write about 500-1000 words an hour.

I haven't written in three days, because I hated what I was writing, and didn't want to chuck it and start over again. Gonna seriously try to write this weekend.. and determined to stick it through to the end!!

@Angel, that's a great idea! I've decided to do a 10k Sunday this weekend to bring me a bit closer to where I'm supposed to be and then if I do the same thing on the Sunday after I should reach 50k in time (along with 2k every night).

@Amary, when I try to write something that I don't like my hands just end up freezing over the keyboard and I end up daydreaming about what better things I could be doing at that moment xD I definitely encourage you to carry on with your story, though; I only scrapped mine because I was only 5k in but you've got more than double that (which is amazing, btw :) I read your NaNo synopsis and the story sounds really good!
