Howie and the neighbor dogs don't get along. So Howie escaped the backyard to see the neighbor dogs (across the street) and bit the owner for whatever reason. But I believe he was provoked because he only does that when he feels threatened. So they have to put Howie down. That was the last living thing that Caije really cared a lot about from his messed up childhood.

That's just messed up :( You can't put down every dog for attacking with instinct! Like I was attacked by my own grandpa's dog unprovoked and I didn't ever think that we should've put it down >:(
