RIk:
"I don't know...I might adopt it if she does give birth to it."
Leon:
"Train him for what?"
Denise :
"For being a real man?"
Cordelia :
"I see."
Rik:
"What would you do if you were in my place?"
Leon:
"No no. I meant train him on what?"
Cordelia :
"I don't know. It is like adopting."
Denise :
"Fighting."
Rik:
"I won't forgive myself if allowed what happened to Di to happen to the other child. Even if it weren't my own."
Leon:
"...Fighting?"
Denise :
"Yeah. You're not really teaching him much."
Cordelia :
"Then it would be best to take care of him."
Rik:
"Yeah it would...It's a bit unnerving seeing that it would be the first child I take care of and bring up, but ... it's the right thing to do."
Leon:
"For a reason.'
Denise ;
"Young masters should have plenty of skills."
Cordelia :
"It seems like it."
Rik:
"I just wish I could bust her before she does this again."
Leon:
"True. But learning at this early age gives a mixed signal."
Denise :
"He's already too old. I have another kid I'm teaching and he's 5."
Cordelia :
"So complicated."
Naia:
"They looked about our age"
Baela:
"I didn't notice any tools or anything on them."
Leon:
"I want him to have the innocence I never had. No point of making him strong if he misses the main point of childhood."
Rik:
"Let's just forget about her. I'll find a way to take care of her."
Denise :
"There are plenty of kids his age practicing martial arts...or other styles. That's not taking away his innocence. I'm not turning him into a serial killer.
Cordelia :
"I'm sure you will."
Laina :
"They don't seem like tourists you know...I don't even think this area is opened for visits."
Leon:
"... Fine. Not anything too painful or gruesome."
Rik:
I smiled to her before saying, "I'm sorry if I dragged you into this drama."
Denise :
"Told you. There's another kid I found in the forest that I'll trian."
Cordelia :
"Don't worry about it."
Leon:
"How come you didn't tell me about the kid before?"
Denise :
"I forgot. He's nice. He's an ordinary human."
Leon:
"So he was deserted there at such a young age? That's...sad."
Denise :
"Well no he's not exactly ordinary. I meant it like he is not a bender. A few hundreds years ago spirits founded a human order specially trained since an early age to be strong enough to face benders in combat. They had a lot of special weapons and secret techniques and stuff like that. And they had to watch the balance between humans and spirits. Anyways they just recruited children for a new generation when someone decided to wipe them off. They were nice enough to leave the kids alive though. I liked this one. Like really... He's funny. I always found the order useless I honestly have no clue why someone would want them dead. Hmmm probably they were interested in their weapons..."
Leon:
"If they watched the balance between humans and spirits, then maybe they found something that threatens us?"
Denise :
"I'm pretty sure I would have known that. We talk about stuff like that in the council."
Leon:
"What if the person that knows about that decides to keep that info to him or herself in case they need to use it against the other benders?"
Denise :
"Well if that's the case I don't care anyways. The world is not my responsibility."
Leon:
"Until they come after you."
Denise :
"Oh yeah? I can't wait."
