I have issues with TMI (So long it feels like a chore and repetitive now and I'm bored with the characters and everything) and I'd just get extremely confused starting in Spirits now. It's been going on for so long and I seen the little character bubble thingy's at the beginning and I just can't catch what's going or what's gone on. I'd need a clear explanation before I create a character.

@malu: I can't believe I came up with his name and forgot it now, lol. And yeah. I think I'm gonna do it with my alt though. My main has zero pink :P

@bloodsy": We haven't gone much into those anyway, so no need to worry about them.

Diana Engel (Mine): Age 17. A Water Spirit. No family she's aware of. Grew up in an orphanage.

Met a 30-something man at the age of 14 and ran away with him. Turned out he was using her for her powers after discovering about them earlier (le shock). Ran away from him to join the academy. Tried to follow her. Diana's friends and boyfriend killed him.

She's currently dating Elias (Rukia's character). They hit it off the night the academy started. So they've been together for about three weeks - a month now and that's why everyone really makes fun of them for being so serious about it in such a short time.

Leon Sol (Mine): 23 years old. Water Spirit. A CEO of an Entertainment Company but a student at the academy.

Think Sylvain. Think younger and less stable. He was brought up to be a gentleman. Had a very bad incident as a kid making him lose his little brother. He was then adopted by a rich man who noticed how smart he is. For a while lived an empty materialistic life until his adoptive father adopted a 4-year old Air Spirit called Thomas. Leon felt responsible for the kid and has been his guardian ever since he got rid of his father.

He's best friends with Denise (Ruki's character) and is currently dating Ryan (also Ruki's character) who's Denise's sister.

On to Ruki's characters next. Is this useful? Too much? Too little?

We have also many of the characters' backgrounds in fanfics. Those are quite useful, too.

Let's see. Since Diana and Elias are in the tearoom, maybe your character can be there> She's a new student who doesn't know much about the academy and maybe she can go over to ask about the dorms or something? Seeing that Diana is usually too friendly for her own good, she'll take care of the rest. We can start a convo and Diana can introduce stuff.

Elias BlackBourne (Ruki's): 18 years old. Air Spirit. Has five siblings. Were born out of nature.

He was found with his baby siblings by an Earth Spirit who they refer to her as their mother. Later, they lived with an air spirit that brought them up and helped them go to school and so on.

He used to smoke but recently quit with Diana's help. Currently his brother, Christian, is around for a visit. He and Diana are hiding their relationship from him. Elias said that his brothers tend to either steal each others' girlfriends or be mean to them and try to make them breakup.

He's usually very nice to Diana, but can be a bit mean to others. Likes to read. Can be very flirty and romantic.

Denise Fox: 24 years old (I think?). He's a teacher in the academy and was a student there, too. He's one of the best characters I think.

He can be funny most of the time. Has a bit of insanity to him. And doesn't mind to shed blood. Can be quite flirty. Doesn't seem to have much confident in himself at times.

He has a girlfriend that his parents killed. He had his revenge by killing them and then brought Ryan with him to the academy.

Ryan Fox: 17 years old. Diana's best friend. She's a fire Spirit. A very fun character. Can be fiery at times, literally.

She grew up under her parents' close supervision and didn't live in civilization for long.

She's very powerful. Super powerful. Due to her family's long bloodline.

152 nope humans usually don't have many benders on the family. Spirits maybe I think but not humans. I think. Not sure. Maybe you should ask ruki.

152 the way I understand it is that when bloodlines start getting long, spirits are more likely to be born than humans.

So even though ancestors are humans, they'd be spirits.

Not entirely sure that's the explanation but Ruki will know more. In general however. It's okay to have human bender parents. Sometimes grandparents, but not ancient families. Those would result in spirits.

You can have long bending lines among humans too, but for the spirits are the ones that pass down the powers so it's kind of meaningless. You gotta always marry human benders of the same element if you wanna have a long bloodline. You can change to spirit if you want a long powerful benders family.
The only thing I wanna correct is about Ryan's super powers XD she has that huge awesomely spiritual energy but her body is too weak to actually use it -as you probably noticed Darky she's in a bad shape XD - so Denise usually uses her powers along with his assassination skills.

153 Spirits are just like humans. Not ghosts. More powerful, have telepathy. Some can teleport.

Humans can eventually learn more than one element but in general are weaker.

That's how I memorized it. :)
