Leon:
"At least now I somewhat know how to make a good ponytail."
Rik:
I took a fork and cut out a small bite to taste it. I froze tasting it and moaned happily.
Diana:
As soon as I got there, I saw Elias and ran to him hugging him. "I missed you!!!"
Ryan :
"You can make bed time level ponytails. Oh yeah... The company is a mess since there was no one in charge... And the police is looking for you... And some of your ex girlfriends too."
Cordelia :
"Is it good?"
Elias :
"Do you have some list? What do we need?"
Leon:
"I don't care about any of them right now." I said calmly.
Diana:
"Yeah. It's not too long." I said taking my phone out. "Cereal and milk. Eggs, sugar, chocolate syrup and chicken."
Rik:
"It's... It reminds me of something. Back when I was a kid."
Ryan :
"Then you can read me something..."
Elias :
"And for the cake?"
Cordelia :
"Really? I'm happy then!"
Rik:
"It's really wonderful. Cordelia..." I said taking another bite.
Diana:
"Vanilla. Everything else is covered in the original list...Maybe we should get a bit more eggs and milk." I said smiling.
Leon:
"Oh let's see what we have in the library today...I'm assuming not horror?"
Ryan :
"Why not? Really... Read me some horror story."
Elias :
"Ok then. Let's get some chips too."
Cordelia :
"Then eat as much as you like!"
Diana:
"hmmmm Barbecue ones?"
Leon:
"How about this? The Case of the White Rose?"
((ehem someting I wrote two years back))
Rik:
"And you're not gonna eat from it?"
((Lol do you still have it? I wanna read))
Ryan :
"Anything is fine."
Cordelia :
"I made more so it's ok. I'll eat too." I said taking a bite.
Elias :
"Just salty."
((Lol...I posted it on ff.net. Lemme see if I can find it. It wasn't completed as I ran into a block...Wait found it!))
Diana:
"hmmm I'll steal a barbecue one for me." I said as we grabbed a cart putting some of the stuff.
Leon:
"I haven't read it yet so I warn you...I don't know if it's good."
Rik:
"Where did you learn to cook this well?"

Elias :
"Gummy bears too! And ice cream... And popcorn."
Ryan :
"Read it already..."
Cordelia :
"My grandmother taught me. I love cooking."
((Ok got the link ;) ))
Leon:
I took a deep breath and started reading. After a few pages, I said, "I think this is a mystery one not a horror one?"
Diana:
"Wanna have a movie night tonight?" I asked as I put in the popcorn. "We haven't done that in a while I think."
Rik:
"To be honest you're the best cook I've ever met. Di is good, but your recipes are better in my opinion."
Ryan :
"Then read me some romance... Or you can make it up."
Elias :
"A movie night? Let's watch Game of Thones."
Cordelia :
"I have more experience. I'm older you know..."
Diana:
"I never watched it! Yeah sounds fun."
Leon:
"I'll read you Romeo and Juliet." I said grabbing the other book.
Rik:
"Yeah I suppose so. She does look up to you, so she's learning."
Ryan :
"But you already did once."
Cordelia :
"I don't mind teaching her a few tricks."
Elias :
"It is. We can watch it from the beginning."
Diana:
'You won't get bored from seeing it again?"
Leon:
"How about Anthony and Cleopatra? It's my favorite."
Rik:
"I like seeing you two together. My favorite two girls together."
Ryan :
"I don't know that one. Read then."
Cordelia :
"Really? I'm your favorite?"
Denise :
"Nope!"
Leon:
"It's true by the way. It really did happen between Cleopatra, the queen of Egypt and Mark Anthony, the roman leader. Even though he was married, he fell in love with her and they later got married and had at least two children."
Diana:
"Sounds like a plan then!" I said happily.
Rik:
"Of course! Do you still even doubt that?"
Ryan :
"I can't agree to the part where he felt in love when he was married..."
Cordelia :
"No I don't." I said smiling.
Elias :
"It's really interesting. I've read the books too."
Rik:
"You shouldn't ever ever ever." I said in a sing song voice.
Diana:
"I didn't know they were based on books." I said sheepishly.
Leon:
"Yeah I suppose. Then again he wasn't married for love. It was a political marriage. But you know what's beautiful? His wife, Octavia, even after the divorce still loved him and tried to make peace between him and her brother. And when Cleopatra and Mark Anthony died, she took in his children from Cleopatra and raised him with her own."
Ryan :
"And he left such a wonderful woman..."
Elias :
"There are a few little differences. But mostly they are the same."
Cordelia :
"Did you practice playing the piano lately?"
Diana:
'Oh. Are the books better? Which one do you prefer?"
Leon:
"Yeah. I don't agree with what he did, but I honestly think that the emotions that the three of them, Octavia, Marc Anthony and Cleopatra, showed however are what I like the most about this. it's no the cheesy romance novel. it's human."
Rik:
"yeah. A little. I've been practicing a song for you."
Elias :
"I prefer the TV version. I don't have a favorite book."
Ryan :
"Well... I don't know about the cheesy romance or human romance or thing like that in books. I've read very few fiction books ... Maybe 2 and some comic books."
Cordelia :
"Really? Can I hear it?"
Diana;
'You're always reading. I pick up and read some of your books when I get the chance."
Leon:
"You're missing a lot. Reading is ... It takes you away from this world for a while and it's more personal than movies."
Rik:
"Sure yeah." I said going over to the piano and getting ready to play, said, "No high expectations though!"
Elias :
"Well I like reading. It's interesting... I even read the books I don't like.
Ryan :
"I like reading... I've read a lot... Just... Not fiction. I'm more into the history books... Oh and military strategy ... And things like that."
Cordelia :
"I'm sure you'll do fine." I said and sat down next to him.
Diana:
"Wow...Why do you read them if you know you don't like them?" I asked turning around to face him now curious.
Leon:
"Wooooah. Hold there. Why in the world do you read this stuff?"
Rik:
I took a deep breath and said, "I think it's called Lamentation of the Heart by Phillip Wesley...It reminded me of you. Soft and uplifting."
