"Sweet dreams." I said and closed my eyes. I still had a weird feeling in my heart but I decided to ignore him and just enjoy Leon's embrace for the night.

True to my word, I wasn't planning to sleep. I wasn't going to get a shut-eye until I make sure this whole ordeal is done. Caleb was not going to hurt her even further.

I slept really well that night but I sleep well most of the time anyways. I opened my eyes lazily and looked around for Leon.

Leon:
I stayed up all night ... most of the night ... and actually ended up drifting to sleep towards the morning, so by the time she woke up, she was snuggled in my lap and I was sleeping while sitting up resting my head against the bed headboard.

I looked up and saw Leon was still asleep so I got up really slowly as to not wake him up and made my way to the kitchen to see what's in the fridge

I woke up with a startle when I noticed that she was not there. Jumping out of bed, I heard a rustle in the kitchen and ran over there. When I saw it was only her, I let out a sigh of relief and ran my hands through my hair before mumbling, "Good morning."

"I actually hadn't slept in three days... Had too much work then helped Denise hunt down the people that tired to hurt Aletha and Dustin. I used to be able to stay up for a week though ... I'm not getting old, am I?"

I got up and took his coffee mug away. "I'm banning you from any kind of caffeine or energizer. I'll make you run around the entire day and when we get back I want you to sleep like a baby. Understood?"
