Everyday and after but ESPECIALLY for your b-day. Although, ironic, My family only recently started "celebrating" birthdays cuz well we really shouldn't...
160 Huh? Why? Well unless you don't want to talk about it here of course.

No it's fine. Religiously we aren't supposed to. The only days we really are allowed to celebrate is Eid. Celebrating birthdays is like celebrating another year closer to...amm...the end of one's life.
160
I see
161 I seeeee. I never heard/ read anything that said that. *shrugs*
We've been celebrating for ages now :D
And well the way I look at it is you celebrate yourself getting wiser and getting ready to start an awesome new year. I judge myself on the year that passed, see what needs to change and make resolutions for the new year.

Already heard rude. Everyone is singing it!! Have to listen to other 2! :D In a while le internet will get fast so soon.
Me tonight: Took le photo only for ya'll. I never wear the it same way twice.. maybe cause I don't/can't remember how exactly I put it on the first time so each time it looks different when I attempt the same thing.
I'm a bit shy (yup) to put it on that way (le way Angie showed) and I'm not exactly sure my mom will allow me to but I shall try. I need one of those under black things though.

157 AWWW PRETTY!

Thanku!!! <3 *blush*
About B days: My family knows we shouldn't celebrate but we do slightly. We fast and a few gifts are passed. Our thinking is that it's ok if we have a small gathering among family and well-wishers only but nothing luxurious like expensive cakes or a really party. Modest and should be like a way of thanking god for the past year of life I guess. :)
12 now and I gots to wake up early 2moro sooo.. GOODNIGHT!!! SSLEEP TIGHT! LET MAL BITE!! <3
Love ya'll. <3

Malu, you look so prettiful! And have a good sleep in which you'll probably dream of chocolate covered everything :)
Random nonsense: I drew Katakana on my nails, super happy I'm remembering it ^^
154
Awe!' So pretty Mal!!
My family celebrates birthdays so...
156
The only thing we do is make cakes :3 And then recently a little "pie" in the face.
Malu you look so adorable!! That's okay, I don't wear the one I showed you anyway ^^
155 I guess as long as people do what they want: Celebrate or not, they can do so :D My family celebrates, but you don't have to.

maluu you look adorable :D it's strange to hear about a culture that doesnt celebrate bdays when mine does it all the time we even have special food for it. Haha but you learn something new everday :D
Neri you know katakana? Thats so cool! C:
154 It's actually cool to learn that even people of the same religion (whom I expected to have the same culture) have different traditions! Super excited now actually. You do learn a LOT every day :D :D
What's katakana?
155
It's awesome learning stuff! I never would have learned what I know if I never came here :3 Yall are full of amazings!
Katakana is a type of Japanese writing. It's like Kanji. Really want to learn japanese in general. Does anyone know which they usually use?
154.
I think it's wonderful knowing so many people from different cultures all over the world. And I'm just going to say this, I think head scarves are absolutely gorgeous. You're lucky.
153
I kind of knew some people didn't do birthdays, but knowing why is very helpful :)
Yep, Katakana, working on Hiragana. I...am nowhere near learning Kanji xD
I think in Japan it's Katakana for non-japanese words and then it's Hiragana for Japanese words. I always get them confused though, so don't put that on a test of any kind ^^" Kanji is complicated, so I don't know too much on that :\

Good luck on learning it neri!! I wish I could learn Japanese</3
Okay, so in college me and my friends' group is the "girl group" of our class since our group is the 6 out of 8 girls in the class who're together all the time. But basically there's this really really creepy dude who I really really don't like who I think is taking pictures of us w/o our consent!! Like even some of my guy friends who I don't always hang out with say that sometimes they see him pointing his phone at us, tapping it like he's taking a picture. And sometimes we see a flash from his phone but he mumbles under his breath "haha flashlight" as if that totally makes us not believe that it's just the flash of his phone and it's really creeping us out!! Idk what to do since we don't actually have proof and before I just ignored him when he was being weird (all the time) but now it's just on the next level D:
153 If you and many other people think so, I'd say just report him. it's impossible to get evidence.
152
153
I agree with Darky. If other people not in your little group are thinking the same thing, then that's enough for witnesses.
152
What they said
I've gotten some good news today
153 Oh yay!!! What happened bloodsy?

1. Caije may work for his grandfather in Louisiana next summer. That's only a 12 hour drive. I'll be able to see him.
2. His father case was finalized in Indiana. If I haven't told you, his father was accused of rape and molestation of his 2 daughters, Caije's younger and older sister. He was found guilty in September. Today he was given 30 years and 6 years probation. He got extra time than originally given because of the mental and physical abuse Caije was subject to. Now Kentucky has to run their trial. Kentucky won't fight hard to prove him innocent since he was already found guilty. He'll most likely get the same. So that will mean 60 years with 12 years probation. His father will most likely die in prison for the sins he made before he even sees bail. He deserves what came to him out of this. The situation is actually worse but I'm sparing many many details. This just makes Caije, his family, and I very happy (me bc I was a victim of rape and all my rapist got was 6 years jueve so I'm happy to see one put away.)
