i'm liking this year's theme so far
Thank you! Completely slipped my mind this year, and I didn't see a word about it!
Also liking the purple/twilight theme.
Happy & Safe Holidays everyone!

What theme would you call it? To me, at least, it's certainly not Christmas themed. Maybe Star Wars?

i mean, there was something about a star shooting across the night sky in the story, isn't there?

Yes, "red and green" Santa and other Christmassy things.
I'm not sure about the quote pyramid

i'm looking at the current forum background, would be nice to have those clothes available for our dollz. and i noticed some of my alts could use an extra Santa hat and elf ears xP
I keep looking at that rug:quoi: or is that a ceiling? I think it is shaped like a ceiling. Pretty. But ceiling? Tired brain is tired.
As for a theme, I'd call this Starry Night so far. Or could maybe go with something Celestial. The latest wig with the star points sticking out is actually making me wonder about other Mythologies, as I've been listening to an audio book from the Great Courses on the subject. Don't remember any actuall god/goddess about stars so far.
And I also like that they offer the gifts free for 2 days - if I read that part right. Miss a day and can still get the item - and what with the aforementioned tired-brain, much appreciated.
Thanks again for posting these sierradane!
I think that thing is a ceiling for a room meant for a Hobbit (short person). As for the theme..... It's definitely NOT Christmas; I think it borders on another religion. And you're welcome =)

most videogames that have a christmas-like event that want to avoid religion allusions call it something along the lines of winter star or night star festival, so...

They could have done Santa Claus, Christmas trees... not mention "the Reason for the Season" and still not be one religion. With all the stars, moons, suns, I am seeing a religion. And personally, I would rather have furniture instead of clothing. In the past when we'd get clothing items, it was 1 day for one outfit... not strung out over several days to get one look. That reminds me of my friend who was born on Christmas Day. One year as a kid, she had 2 presents under the tree. One said "Merry Christmas" and the other, "Happy Birthday." In one of the packages was ONE red boot. In the second package was another SINGLE boot. Two presents (or as in our Advent gift even), one final gift.
