Felicia:
I kinda slowed down not sure I wanted to risk it. "Wish we had those as kids. Did you grow up around those?"
Gabe:
"Not... exactly." I say, "I was a Citizen first few years of my life but I still grew up in a creative family... we just got caught one day and bam new life."
Felicia:
I frowned a little, "That's...bad...but look at the bright side, I think you're more awesome!"
Gabe:
I laugh, "Thanks. I think I like living like this better though, I can do what I want as long as I don't hurt anybody. Paint pictures without worrying about affecting the rest of my family."
Felicia:
"Oh you paint?? Can I see?"
Zyanis:
"Since you want me to with you tomorrow, I should get some sleep. Good night."
Isaac:
"Of course, Sweet dreams. Hopefully dreams about wreaking havoc...!" I sang.
Zyanis:
I smiled, "Same to you." I said waving him goodbye and going to my little home. I made my way to my bedroom and sat on my bed with my arms wrapped around my knees, resting my head on them. Should I tell him? Persuade him? Should I even do anything about it?. Every time I go with Isaac, I meet someone nice. Someone who shouldn't die at the age they are about to.
I don't have the same drive as him. Or Dad. I was born into this world. I want to get out.
Gabe:
"Uh, yeah,"I say laughing at her excitement, "I actually finished something just before the banquet yesterday, it's at my house though..."
Felicia:
"Well..i...still wanna see it...if you're okay with that. You don't have to if you don't want to."
Gabe:
"I was actually asking if you were okay with it, seeng as it is some random dude's house you're going to." I smile and get up, "And since you are, apparently, let's go."
Felicia:
"Well...you seem like a nice random dude."
Gabe:
I laugh, "Thanks, that's not something I hear everyday."
I lead her to my house and make a shy ta-da motion towards my wall. "Abberation streets aren't the best-kept streets so I wanted to put a bit of nature in my house... The paint's still a bit wet..."
Felicia:
"Oh my...this is...gorgeous." I said getting a closer look then turning to him in awe, "You really did this? On your own?"
Gabe:
"O-oh, thanks..." I blush slightly at her compliments and grin sheepishly, "Ah... yeah, haha, it took a while though."
I frown a little, "It'll be sad when Society finds out though, they'll probably tear it down."
Felicia:
I actually felt my eyes getting a bit wet, but held it back. "I...I really don't want them to take it down."
Gabe:
I'm surprised when I hear the stutter and scrunch my eyes when I see that she's glassy eyed and on the verge of crying.
I put my hands on her shoulders "Hey, hey, it's alright. I mean, sure I'm used to my stuff being torn down but the physical thing itself, it's not what makes it. It's when people see it, when they remember that it exists way after it's physical self is gone. That's what matters, and Society can't take that."

'I know it's just...it feels so...unfair...and painful. Lately it's been like they're taking away anything and everything we find good. I...Never mind." I said taking a deep breath to recompose myself. "So...Where did you get the inspiration from?"
Gabe:
I smile sadly and pat her hair before leaning back, "Hmm well when me and my family were evicted and split up from our last home, they but the hoise ablaze because every inch of the inside was full of painting. It was pretty scary to go through as a kid, and I thought using fiery colors into something beautiful would help me deal with it..."
Felicia:
"That's...hard...so you live here with your parents?"
Gabe:
I shake my head, "No, we were split up the last time they found us "undermining Society", said that I was old enough to take care of myself anyway so they split me up to try to repress my rebelliousness I guess."
Felicia:
"Oh...I'm sorry...So you're alone now...Any friends?"
Gabe:
"Yeah, mostly from work or the park." I say with a smile, "How about you?"
Felicia:
"Not really ... You see my family has always had relations with the officials. As much as we hated that...As a result, having connections with us meant danger... I think it's always been expected that I'd marry one of them."
Gabe:
"Ahh... can't say I understand how you feel. I long gave up being Matched so I never had any expectations on who I'd end up with, you know? But it must suck, since you obviously don't quite like them." I chuckle a little at the end, knowing her fairly blatant distaste for the whole thing.
