Mackenzie:
"Don't they usually have clipboards in hospitals? I bet that would work. Or maybe...A button?" I asked, finding one of those spare buttons on the inside of my sleeve.
Aelis:
"Let's try to use the button first," I said. "Though it might break, you okay with that?"
Aelis:
"True." I took the button from her and started to work on the hinge. the button fit into the hole of the hinge and I turned it as hard as I could. The button snapped and I fell back. "Whoa. Okay. I just thought of something. If we're going to try and escape, everyone needs to be up and walking painlessly," I said looking around the room.
Mackenzie:
"Right. So, everybody, up! You know, if you can, don't rush yourselves or anything crazy."
Sage:
"Fair point..." I sighed, then stood up. I immediately had to grab the metal slab that I was laying on before. "I'd say this is chloroform or a similar chemical, could take a minute."
Aelis:
"Take all the time you need." I said going to Asna's side. "Come on little sis. Up and at 'em." I said giving her a hand as she stood up. She wobbled a little then her legs gave way. I caught her before she could fall. "Hold on to the bed." She nodded and put both her hands on the bed balancing herself.
"I'm good."
"You sure."
She winced but still assured me she was okay. "Anyone else need some help?" I asked.
Delon:
I hesitantly stood up from the bed. My knees felt a little weak but I ignored it. I wanted to get out of here. "There doesn't seem to be anything here except these bed we were on."
Kath:
"That mustn't be all that's in here." I started searching for a card or something similar. And I actually did. "Hey. I found something.."
I looked at it closely and saw it was a blood card. On top there was a name written ".. Mackenzie? Who's Mackenzie?"
Serena:
"Celeste can't get up."
Aelis:
"I can pick her up. If everyone else is awake, she's the only one that needs help. Unless you want to keep her here. She's really the only one of us who was here with purpose."
Anastasia:
"We can tie some sheets or cloths together with the railings and make a stretcher of some sort." I say as I walk up to the girl and the unconscious "Celeste", "It'll be easier than having one person carry her and getting tired. By the looks of it we'll need to save our energy."
Daniel:
I go up to the group near the door and fiddle with the sole of my shoe until I manage to open the slot I put there and take out the multi-tool I stash in it I sigh with relief when I find that it's still there, "I've got a small screw driver. I dunno if it'll fit."
Aelis:
"It's small, but I think we can make it work." I said taking the screw driver. I fiddled with the door hinges and the screw moved slightly. "Okay it works. But we need to be ready to run before we unscrew the door."
Daniel:
"Anything could be on the other side, though." I say warily, now that the I knew the door could be unlocked, my imagination on what could be on the other side started running wild, "Someone could be waiting to kill us... How are we going to approach this? Sneaky or just charge through?"
Aelis:
"There's enough of us to charge through. We could do that."
Asna:
I cupped my hands to the side of my head to look through the window. "I don't think anyone's there right now."
Sage:
"Well, yes, there could be a person behind that door, or there could be a security mechanism, once you open it, we'll have to be prepared for anything."
