"You pour water on us." I said simply.
Dante:
"And you set my b...backyard on fire!" I said accusingly.
Kane:
"You started it!" I yelled.

Mattie:
The next day I woke up late. I heard people talking downstairs so I snuck down to hear what was going on. Beetus, Callista's father was yelling at my parents.
"YOU TWO COULDN'T HAVE RAISED A BETTER SON! What am I suppose to do now?!?!"
"I don't know Beetus. Try to find another suitor, maybe." my mother answered
"Do you understand how hard that is at this age?"
"Quite hard I presume but not impossible."
"This is all your fault, Haemon!" he said towards my father.
"How so, Beetus?" my father asked.
"You taught him to love whoever despite the cost."
"I did."
"So he found another girl and fell in love ruining this marriage."
"That's how you see it? As a ruined marriage?" my father asked him quietly.
He seemed speechless for a minute before answering, "Yes."
"Mind if I tell you what I see?"
"You're going to anyways."
"True. I see two young people starting a new adventure, a new life. It's a blessing."
"You and your aristocrat views." Beetus said it like a curse. "I expected better of you, Danya."
"I'm sorry, Beetus. I can't help what my son does while I'm not there."
Next thing I heard was Beetus and his wife storming off.

"...Might I remind you that on my first day in training, you set my hair on fire?!"

I felt for Matt next to me, but when I couldn't find him, I got up and decided to look at him. I saw him standing next to a door listening, so I walked close to him and asked him mentally, Are you okay, sweetheart?
Mattie:
Callista's father is furious at me and my parents. I explained.
Kane:
"I didn't like you then." I said matter-o-factly.

Dante:
"Sooo?....YOU started it. There! i rest my case, Pyro boy!"

...Oh...This early in the morning?I feel bad for your parents....Yeah even your mom...I actually feel like she's not that bad. Think she'd like it if I made you guys breakfast?...I know some old style homemade recipes.
Mattie:
Layla will make breakfast. My mother won't let you
Kane:
"That was a different time!"
Val:
I pouted then sent mentally, I wish I could make her happier that's all...Maybe I should stay out of her way this morning...For her to cool off?
Dante:
I was about to say something back, then asked confused, "...What were we talking about again?"
Kane:
"You were mad that I kept calling your wife pretty."
Mattie;
I know. Father took up for you against Beetus.
Val:
Really?...Your father is...I like him, Matt....So much...I wish he would get to hold Felicia...But...
Dante:
"...I have a headache...Want some coffee?"
Lily:
I rolled my eyes and sat down, watching the two children bicker.
Kane:
"I would love some!"
Mattie:
I do too. I missed him so much.
