I don't know what came over me...I just found myself saying, "Never thought someone like me would work for Sir Dante..." Before she could ask I said, "Oh. We're here. Let's get out before Meg does something stupid."
Lily:
I titled my head a little bit, as we got out of the car. Dante did say these three where powerful warlocks...
"Oh it's cute." I said, looking around.
Stefanie:
Lola sent me mentally, Of course it would be cute. Meg chose it!I smiled a little and a waitress led us to a table next to the window. Meg immediately went into full speed ordering us drinks and cheesecakes, cupcakes...and basically anything with sugar.
Mattie:
"Or not." I said laughing.
Dia:
I was kinda shocked all this was happening over me.
Dante:
"There is nothing wrong with me."
Dante:
"Look me in the eye and say you're not hurting."
Val:
I asked Matt from behind the door, "Can I get up to try a dress? And no you can't peek."
Adelle chuckled and said to Dia, "Having Valerie for a bridesmaid sure makes things interesting...And you should smile more."
Lily:
"Oh wow this all looks really good." I said sitting at a table with the three.
Dia:
"Uh...oh, yeah.." I said, putting on a fake cheesy smile.
Mattie:
"It depends...can you sit up and stand yet?"
Kane:
I looked him in the eyes and tried to make it as believable as I could. "I am not hurting."
Dante:
"Liar! Liar! Pants on fire!...Bad expression to be used in your care, but...you're lying!"
Val:
"I can stand...Adelle will help me." She called from inside, "I will. I won't allow my model to break!"
Mattie:
I sighed. "Alright."
Kane:
"No I'm not!"
Val:
"Thanks!" I said as Adelle helped me on my feet to try on the dress. I was so happy I was getting my figure back! After putting it on and as Adelle took my measurements I sent Dia mentally, You and I so need to have a girls' day out...You need to cheer up!
Dante:
"You're not okay, that's right."
Mattie:
I rolled my eyes. "Women."
Dia:
When would we do that?
Kane:
"I'm fine."
Dante:
"And I'm the Mona Lisa." I said as we got out of the limo.
Val:
As soon as Matt allows me out of the bedroom!
Sylvain:
"I'm guessing Valerie didn't allow you to see the wedding dress until your first wedding?"
Mattie:
"Yep. She rambled on about it being bad luck."
Dia:
I chuckled. That doesn't seem to be happening anytime soon.
Kane:
"Really?" I asked following him.
Dante:
I gave him a look, "Why yes! See my frown?"
Val:
I pouted at her, Think so? I am a little tired, but...I hate sitting in bed all day! I'll try to convince him somehow.
Sylvain:
"She still believes in those superstitions?You'd think being a downworlder would change that."
Mattie:
"Is Dia allowing you to see her in the dress?"
Kane:
"You have eyebrows though."
Dia:
Have fun!
Lily:
I ate some of the cheesecake, "This is good!"
Val:
After Adelle finished and helped me out of the dress and back into bed, I called for the guys, "The cost is clear."
I saw Adelle cover the dresses and as she walked outside, she said, "Be prepared for a heart attack on the wedding day."
Sylvain:
"...I'm guessing not."
Dante:
I couldn't help but laugh, then said, "Sylvain send out invitations this morning...I saw your name on the list...Have a tuxedo ready?"
Stefanie:
Meg smiled widely and said, "I know right? The best invention EVER!...Lola says that cars are the best invention ever but I beg to differ!"
Kane:
"Um...no. I don't wear tuxedos."
Mattie:
"Let's go in and see them now." I said as I headed into the room.
Lily:
I smiled a little bit, "They are a pretty good idea."
Stefanie:
Meg brightened even more and said pointing at Lola, "In your face, Lola!" Lola glared at her for a second then almost bit her finger. Meg jumped back and pouted at her. I looked at Lily, "Hope you don't mind their antics."
Sylvain:
As soon as we went inside, I went to Dia and hugged her to me, "Found the perfect dress for the perfect day?"
Val:
I smiled to Matt, "See? I made it alive!"
Dante:
"...According to Sylvain...We have to."
Kane:
"And he expects me to listen to him?"
Dia:
I smiled and laughed. "Yes I did. Found your white tuxedo yet?"
Mattie:
"And I'm glad...even though we are actually the dead."
Val:
"I don't believe that. I am more alive now than when I was human. It's nothing but a negative propaganda by mundanes!" And with that I nodded.
Sylvain:
"Not yet. I was telling Matt that he should come with me for one, too...I have a feeling though, that Kane would be breaking the theme."
Dante:
"...He's the groom...right?"
Lily:
"Nah, me and my friends used to act the same way." I replied, finishing up the cheesecake.
