Leo:

"I didn't see anything. Val did! She told you were at a bar with girls all over you. How much more clearer can that get?!?!" I yelled.

Kane:

"I have my reasons. When things get to tough I go back home."

Val:
"I'm sorry...I will mind my own business from now on..." I said pouting a little and folding my arms...I shouldn't let out my anger at him.


Dante:
"Lily...don't bother...Val will handle it...Think of our son."

Tellis:
"...Want to see your grandkids?...Before I change my mind."

Lily:
I put my body against his, "I swear... I'm teaching our son how to be a gentleman... Not like him."

Damien:
"Girls? Sure, they looked like girls. But what she didn't see were their true hidden forms. If she had stuck around long enough she would have seen then transform into blue clawed demons with snake tails for feet. Hideous beasts, the Drakanae. They feed on men's insecurities and if they had known that I was married, they wouldn't have let m go so easily. They love a challenge, you see. I was doing a favor to a fellow co-worker of mine who had gotten himself into their debt by gambling away his inheritance. I can prove it if you want."

Kane:

"After becoming a psychiatrist for Dante? Much."

Leo:

"Wait....you weren't cheating on me then?" I asked quietly. He was still on the other side of the door so I was hoping he'd hear me.

Kane;

"It was my first day on the job. His prescription was that he needed to party."

Leo:

"You can come in."

Damien:
I opened the door gingerly and stepped inside to seat myself beside her on the bed.
I took her face in my hands and wiped away the moisture around her eyes.
"I'm sorry that I have been.. neglecting you so much.."

Damien:
I could feel myself growing desperate.
"Really?.. I-I guess.. I just got so caught up in work that I... didn't realize.." I stopped to take a breath and sighed. "And I wonder why girls don't stick around long enough with me. I'm an idiot. A workaholic to the point that I could forget about my real life." I let my hands fall back away from her face to rest my head in them in defeat.
"I really screwed up, didn't I?"

Damien:
"...Wow.. A son.." I was stumped. She adopted without even.. Well, that's my fault. But still.. could have at least dropped me a line about it.

"How have you been, really?"

Kane:

"What would make you say that?"

Leo:

"Me? I've been dealing with a lot of trying to figure out what I've done wrong between us? Why ain't you been home? What to do? Trying to be strong for Lily and Val."

Damien:
I winced. "I know that apologizing really won't help matters any, but I'm really, really sorry about everything. You shouldn't have gone through all of that alone.. I should have been here with you. If I could go back in time and change all of that, believe me I would."
