'Whatever." I was quiet for a minute then said, "Besides why in the world would you want to come back to our clan? You hate them!"

"For Verene....and you..."
Theo:
I laughed hard at that.
Cleo:
I rolled my eyes at him.
Theo:
"Verene doesn't care about you."
Cleo:
"I care about her whether the feelings are mutual or not."
Theo:
"Why the waste of emotions and worry? Not worth it."
Cleo:
"Because they're important emotions that you used to have."
Theo:
"They are not important. They bring nothing but unnecessary pain. And they get in the way of missions. Not efficient at all."

"She was proud of you! That didn't lead her to het end."
