I let them do whatever they wanted. Hair...Makeup...Dress...Shoes...Everything. I was used to this, so it wasn't anything new.

Soon enough I was standing facing the full length mirror checking my reflection. I kept a straight face and a proud look, but I felt like I was being defeated.

After taking a breathe, I was told to start heading downstairs where he, father and my brothers should be waiting.

Hair:
But of course jet black.

People dressed very nicely come towards me. They seem very nice, but a little tired. They do my hair and make-up. Miss Verene looks very beautiful. I wonder who her husband is...
