114 You fill in lots of papers ... lots and lots of papers. Especially if you have a not-so-common situation. Like if you move states or move jobs or something like that.

114 oh no no. So in the US, you pay taxes on everything all year. You also pay some percentage on every paycheck you get. And then at the end of the day you submit these papers and they look at what you paid all year and decide if still owe them money or if they owe you money. And if they owe you money, you get a check of your tax return.
Also if you have to do this for your state as well as the federal government.
Soooo we all hope things go well and you get a good tax return.

So if I buy a can of tomatoes then they take money from me as "taxes" and then when I get paid, for my job as a unicorn breeder, then they take money from me as well and then I fill forms and send it to the government? And they may or may not give my money back yes?
And state taxes? Do you have to fill out different forms or the same ones? And when you get tax return, do you get it from only the government or even from the state?

Yep you pay when you buy something and when you get paid. And hopefully you get a return. State taxes are different and require different forms (some states don't have taxes like Florida). I actually never ever seen the State pay you. You usually owe them at the end of the year.
You usually (if you're been handling everything okay) get a return from the government at the end of the year.

Malu, well, the rules are known beforehand so while you're working the forms, you pretty much know the result before you submit them.

Sometimes it says delivered but they don't mean to you but the closest carrier to you. Try calling and tracking. If they said that the phone has actually been delivered, the address you put may have been wrong.
Hehehe....I don't do taxes...Yet. But I love learning how to do it. I just think it's super interesting, though a pain in the neck to actually do.

I dont think we have that tax thing here for normal people. But businesses have it. And we have the GST thing too.

I did. He repeated me the correct address. The post office's number resulted in a dial tone. USPS tracking it said that there was an addressing problem. I'm going to the post office in the morning.

Yes actually. I went to the post office and they actually had and it was set to deliver today once the post office sorted the situation but gave it to me anyway. I have it set up now and gave my old phone to my sister.
At the end of next week I can start RPing again. Finals and whatnot.

My friend once had her package arrive within her city then rerouted to Florida then Hawaii and then back to the city and delivered to her O.O

110 She did. She started worrying that it was not her package at all or the sender was tricking her, but luckily it was just post offices being post offices.
