I had started Christine. I just have problems with older English novels, whether it's 19th century or 1980's.
130 I'm actually rereading 'Much Ado About Nothing' these days.

130 What's up bloodsy?
129
Well my job is going good so far. They're starting to realize I know what I'm doing
130 Well that's good news. Are they a better team than before?
129
Yes. Nicer. More helpful. Better attitudes. I haven't really seen too much trash talking, like the other store had. I'm still in "Training" which for me, they're basically evaluating what I do and don't know. Like they had me on front counter for my first 3 days (I started the 31st of March) but today Sheila (manager) had me "train" in booth 2 (drive thru window up front/take orders for lane 2). She realized I could do it. (Funny store: I had a crew member who had no knowledge that I worked at a previous store ask me what store I worked at because of how flawlessly I took orders, while making drinks and/or bag and hand the food out. New crew don't pick it up fast like that. So she figured I had the experience already.) When lunch came today and Steph took the shift over (So we're saying 2pm when they 6-7am people are leaving) and she had nobody for drive thru Daniel (who was leaving and he's gay, very funny) piped up that I knew it. She took his word for it. I did it effortlessly with her. It's easy. I don't like it, doesn't mean I can't do it. So when she asked if I could make tea, she believed me and had me show another crew who's been there a while on how to make it (I didn't know where to find none of their tea stuff but it wasn't hard). They also know I know fries. Now only if they'll realize I know the grill. I've told them I did. Just gotta wait for them to try and stick me back there. I would definitely like it better. I'm an excellent service person...just had too many bad run ins with customers. This store is located directly next to a greyhound station. So we get bus schedules and estimated riders. These buses go from Chicago to Mineapolis I believe (If I read it right). So we can get pretty busy, plus every school bus full of kids that pull in/we're about 15 miles from the nearest Army base so we get a lot of Humvees full of Army personal pull in. I took orders for a whole squad today on front country. Like 20-25 personels. It can get busy, that's for sure. But I like it. Way better than what I was doing at that other store.
130 they sound a lot better. When you find a store manager that is trusting like that, it means the store is gonna be good! Also I noticed the busier the place you work in, the better and the less drama you have. Simply because people are happier and don't have time or the need to bicker.
