Cannes Shop
Hey ladies, just wondering if anyone knows when exactly the Cannes shop disappeared? So sad....I was working on my Paradise room with flooring from it. I wish they would have posted a warning to let us know that the store was leaving (or maybe they did and I just missed it??).

They probably removed it when they took the fall store out. Just guessing.

Wow, they didnt have it up long at all! I didnt see a warning either. And I could of sworn I was looking at it since the fall store has closed.

I actually wanted to buy it (as it was my favourite room in MDD).
Too bad I don't buy Fee'z anymore.

I was working on a loft design using items from Cannes... so I can say with 100% certainty that it was here on Sunday evening. I think (emphasis on think) that I looked in Cannes again on Monday morning (hoping for a sale)... but I did that pretty much every morning.
I would love to see them bring it back... even if only for the weekend, even at full price, so we don't have to wait a whole year. I agree, some notice would have been nice.

I wish they wouldn't have certain stores open for only a short time. It's almost as bad as McDonald's: "McRib is back!!! only for a short time...."

Given the lack of notice (which may have been an oversight on someone's part), I submitted a request for a temporary Cannes "reprieve". Talking about it on the boards won't bring it back... but it might not hurt to have other players who would like to see Cannes reinstated for one "Last Chance" weekend do the same thing.

I contacted Feerik about this. Apparently it was meant to close a long time ago - probably immediately after the Cannes week, but due to a bug it stayed open way longer than intended, as such it won't be reappearing until next year. Just be thankful it was open for as long as it was.

To be honest, I only ever purchased a few things from Cannes, so it's not that much of a big deal to me...but I still miss the store; though it's good that we had it for longer~ :)

Hey girls,
As Gothgirluni mentioned, it was indeed a bug.
We apologize fo this abrupt closure yet the Cannes shop was never suppose to remain open like this.
However... it might open again sooner than you think ;)

Forget the Easter eggs, keep the jelly beans... please, please, please let the Easter Bunny bring us Cannes for one weekend, one day, one hour! Full price, half price, whatever price... one last chance would be priceless! Have mercy upon your desperate divas and pull some cyber-strings (pretty please?)... it would be cruel and unusual punishment to have to wait a full year with half a floor *sniffle*
