A little bit of history won't do you no harm

The Grimm brothers (in German: Brüder Grimm) were  academics, linguists, cultural researchers, and authors who together collected folklore.

The older brother, Jacob (nothing to do with the notorious wolf) was born on January 4 1785 in Hanau and died on September 20th 1863 in Berlin.

Wilhelm, the younger brother was born on February 24th 1786 in Hanau and died on December 16th 1859 in Berlin.

Their most famous works are fairy tales for children and folklore stories.
