I LOVE the eyes!~ <3
Okay so i dont know what i was doing but whatever it was i found this post on the internet where it says where each of the disney princesses are from. So i decided to draw the princesses in their natural habitat.
Mind you the room smells like sharpie so i stopped ^^
Jasmine:
Snow White:
Mulan (yeah i know she's not a pricess but she was next in the list :p ):
Angel! Oh my! These are lovely! You are sooooo good at drawing! You have awesome drawing skills! A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! :star:
@Angelfire I. Need. The. Pony! Give. Me. The. Pony! I love the pony! It's so cute! And the other drawings are, too ! :good:
:aomd_bravo: I love'em ^.^ your drawings are super cute!!
I'm a bit jealous though...You draw eyes muchh better than me :3
P.S the pony is amazing ...
Thanks guys! I really appreciate it!
Okay...So I've gotten a new drawing program (Autodesk Sketchbook Pro) and it's so good that I've completely stopped wanting Photoshop. Well not completely but for now, I adore this program!! The brushes are absolutley beautiful and the whole interface is amazing!!
Anyway, this is not a promotion....I drew so much on here >.< My drawings have gotten so much more better! And the noses! And the shading! My god...Let me just show you: Now...this isn't really really super good...but i think it's better than most of my drawings. Wouldn't you agree? I really need some critique for the eyes. Any thoughts on how to go about doing that?
I love how you do the eyes! These are so pretty!! <3
Ahhhh!!! Pretty!!! I love the hair! And the shading, omg. And the eyes, and basically everything omg.
But the eyes look too cartoon like on top of the shading >.<
Thanks guys!!
This took me all winter break to finish (two weeks) The editing and the changing and the repositioning...I loved working on this!! I like how it came out. Please ignore the dolphin on the side...I drew that quickly cuz I didn't know what else to do with her hand positions ^^ The scales were the hardest and funnest to draw :)
Gotta work on backgrounds >.<
Woah, angel, those scales are rlly pretty!! Never seen that b4 and it look super cool! And the art style is rlly cute and basically what Im saying is I love this thing!!
Angel! I just looked through from start to finish and you have improved... SO MUCH! Great job, there are all amazing!
Cute!!
@xemo - Really?! The scales were mah fav!! Thank you so much!! I'm trying all these different styles and altering them so that I could call it my own. I only I could get proportions right. Everything would be perfect! Any tips?
@Tiki - OMIGISH You've no idea how much that means to me thankyouthankyouthankyou!
@Malu - TAYNK YOU!
So havent drawn in a while and I saw this little tutorial thing on youtube that gave me a little inspo. Not the same pose or anything but it was a way to do lineart since I can't make clean lines on SAI ^^ SO! This came to me and I did a weird thing with painting where I just basically colored horribly, mixed it up and erased stuff coming outside the lines. Overall I think it turned out somewhat aweshum!
Actually now that I'm looking at it...the hands are ruining it >.< Onward to watching thousands of videos about hands...joy
Woah, such clean lines!! >:0 //jealous anger (please send me a link to the vid unu)
The colors aren't bad, the shading on the forehead is a bit weird though.
Tips, well, get a lot of anatomy drawings and then try to notice patterns or look for anatomy tutorials, most usually have basic proportion lessons/simple tips.
(Basic ones I remember/use often:
Person's Total Height = 6/7 heads
elbow stops at the waist when standing straight
tip of the fingers stop mid-thigh when standing straight)
AH! I forgot to blend the forehead part >.<
And I also used a weird color for the shading O.e Eh. I can't remember why I used that brown color. Usually I use a more orangey color on that skin tone.
I know the 6/7 rule but the other ones I always forget ^^ Thank you!
And I'll send you the link when I get home since my school has blocked YouTube. But the title was "Beginner's Tutorial 1 - SAI Drawing Process - Sketch" and the youtuber was budgiesRcool There's 4 videos in the series and. But the one about the lines is the second video and is around 15 minutes compared to the other two 30 minutes ones.

Angel that's awesome! I really love the hair and eyes on the latest one. A Very nice job with shadows :)
AWWW, DANG angel, that is good. love the eyes and the hair and the shading
THANKS GUYS!! The eyes were my favorite :3
I've been working on this for about two years, playing with shadows, stopping work on it. I've only just finished. I really like how this came out. I tried to make it look good without the lineart but it didn't work. I need more pracitce with eye making before that happens.
I didn't make the lineart.
