Awesome! The top 10 are rewarded! woo hoo, I think I might have placed in the top 10 before, but never won. Fun week I hope---follow the rules everyone!
This has all been said before, and I'm sure many people are thinking it... but given the "exceptional" nature of this show (to quote Sarah), I feel that it needs to be said again:
Given the caliber of the prizes of this show, and the amount of creative effort that should be going into the entries (remember, our winner goes up against the winners of the other countries to compete for the Inspiration store creation); it would make me, and I'm sure many others who try to abide by the rules, happy to see stricter moderation of...
- "ready-made" outfits (outfits must be customized at least 70%)
- minimum required elements (3 items from Basics, which must be visible)
- banned elements (second models, changes of positions, items around the feet, fantastic elements - wings, glitter, etc)
? multi-accounts (I see this isn't posted in our rules, but the french site is limiting players to 3 accounts... I know there are people who enter many more than this every week)
It was a shame to see the entries and results of the Miss OMD contest (which I did not personally enter), where 2 out of 3 winners were in violation of the guidelines, among countless others entered in the show. Similarly, the prizes for Sarah's birthday are greater than those of the weekly fashion show, and the entries should be held to a greater standard as well.
Rules Reminder provided by Cocobelle
These non-compliant entries "crowd" out those who actually try to follow the rules, and deserve a chance at the title, but aren't seen as much in the rotation due to the excessive amount of invalid entries and the persistent presence of certain self-voters.
This is not an attack on the moderation, moderation wouldn't be needed if players would simply follow the rules. I greatly appreciate everything the moderators do for us, and I realize moderators are human, there are only so many hours in the day, and they have a real life that comes before their virtual one :) lol
With that being said, good luck to all who participate fairly and in good faith ♥
Sidenote: Electioneering is illegal in real life, so why not here? Let your outfit speak for itself. The fashion show is not about how many friends you have or grassroot networking, it's about the quality of your outfit. Please stop.
Yes, yes, yes! It's a big part of why I rarely look at the shows, let alone enter them. I've entered a couple of times in the last couple of shows, but I bang my head against the wall every time because EVERY TIME people disregard the rules.

Thank you for being productive and on topic ♥ that *thud* you hear on the other side of the wall is me lol
@sierradane I have deleted your post because it doesn't have anything to do with this post.
*Edit* (To everyone entering the Fashion show)
And please make sure to follow the rules if you don't want to get disqualified from the show.
change in position... does that mean change the positions of items like Turing them? or flipping them?

I believe it is referring to when you change the position of your doll (for example) when the dolls original arms are down but you make them look like they are going up etc...
You need to just use your doll and the position that she is in.
:ouf: That good news. I was getting worry there hat my doll my get kicked because the has items that are flipped and turned. THANK YOU.
Fairykisses, I PM'd you also, but please disqualify my doll I have her arms up! I thought it meant not to make her like a dollzback or something. I've already tried to rearrange her so I can re-enter correctly. Thanks for clearing that up!
Also I wonder if a full body or face only 'skin' is wrong. I had a Skin-face only over her face area. I took that off too in case that is wrong. I know sometimes we like to make our dollz different ethnic look for shows.
I have a question, since this is a 'Special' fashion show, isn't everyone allowed to enter???
:honte:
A little annoying since now there is 15 hours left and I can't enter.

I asked our GM and unfortunately this fashion show has it's regular registration rules.
This is an INVENT a dress for Sarah, 70% of main outfit covered and redone. I used a Centaur outfit to cover the main dress, very difficult since its a horse and dollz-back type clothing. I think its about 60 to 70%. It's hard to tell others because you have to vote for them before you can see what they did. So I'm voting for obvious ones that you can tell went out of there way to make a new creation like DragonMcBaine - who use lots of hair for her skirt--very creative.
