1K Weekly Trophy-Have you done that?

I thought maybe I might make a post to ask people to leave a reply if they have successfully completed this trophy. In this particular post, I'm going to add names of people who have completed it that I can personally remember. If you have done it and I didn't put your name on it, leave a reply & I'll add it. Also, maybe this post can be where people ask for help to reach this goal. I don't think a person should try to do it without letting people know they are going for it... that might end up being something like the rule below (in the event you didn't reach that goal for that week)

Voting Rules:

6) It is NOT against the rules to vote for a player to give multiple votes to another player's doll in order to gain the trophies. Using trophies as an excuse to continually give extra votes to a doll will not be toleratedhttp://us.ohmydollz.com/board/viewtopic.php?id=1137

Maybe if this idea is well received a mod could sticky it and if this isn't the right place, move it to another place... maybe the VOTING forum.

DO NOT FORGET TO CLICK "MY TROPHIES" BEFORE THE RESET OR YOU WILL NOT GET YOUR TROPHIES! (providing you reached your goal)

With you having 201 LIFETIME votes, it might be more feasible to go for a lower weekly votes trophy.

Here's an "unofficial" guide that I go by when helping people with their weekly votes goal. (it's good to start that goal right after reset, and also... perhaps ask for help right before reset on Sunday)

If you are wanting your 20 weekly trophy, it would be nice if you wouldn't ask unless you have 60 lifetime votes. Want 50 weekly trophy? Have 150 LIFETIME votes..and so on and so on.

What I put in my post is a suggestion or a guide to go by. The rule about this goal goes along with massive daily voting. As you may or may not know, on the French server there are dolls who will receive over 50,000 votes in one week. Something fishy is going on there. the US server doesn't want to have that type of Daily Voting... and the particular rule shown below is self explanatory in that a person shouldn't use the excuse of "going for their 1,000 weekly votes trophy" each week to gain more votes.

Sometimes i wish voting wasn't so much as a popularity contest but rather who has a nice doll/loft.

To Daily Vote is an option that is another part of this game. It's like anything else in this game that the company Feerik has come up with. You could ask the same question of anyting in this game:

Why are people so serious about being in the Fashion Show or the Loft Show?

Why are people so interested in writing in the RP section or the Games section of the board?

Why are people so interested in the OhMyGamez section that they play the free games daily to earn more points?

Why do people want to earn 1,000 DB to get that sparkley necklace?

Why is it that some people feel they need to do every quest that comes out?

It's all a choice. Whether a person who likes to Daily Vote, write RP at the boards, enter the FS or LS, do each quest... other people shouldn't look down or frown upon those that do things that they don't like. It's not about a popularity contest, it's just something that some people enjoy doing.

A good time to go for a goal like this is to plan it out the week (or a day or two) before by notifying people you'd like to try for that goal.

Sidney98: anytime you want to do this, let me or others know.

At to everyone: Don't forget to log it after you achieve this goal to collect your trophy. I have seen a couple individuals who had reached their goal but had failed to log in to get the trophy.

This thread isn't for daily votes, it's for those who have completed the WEEKLY VOTES trophy goals. There's another thread in this forum for daily votes. Your best bet to get daily votes will be to actually just ask in the game, send a PM to someone, vote for them. Not a lot of people, it looks like, come to these forums much.
