I have 54 right now... I shudder to think what it cost.(I know, I just want to ignore that fact right now)

I got the white crystal looking things at 20 cookies and 10 spools of thread at 45.  I'll let them bake naturally for awhile after that speedy baking session.  I want that room!!

Yup , that’s about 5 cookies per day without spending any money to speed up the process, so that’ll be about 75 cookies when the deadline gets here and you need 100 cookies for the room I think, so you’ll need to spend 300$$$ for the last 25 cookies .
I love the idea but it’s kinda inconsiderate to start it this late for the dolls who won’t be able to afford it, they’ll be forced to choose between this new room or this months quests if we get one.

I have to agree. The idea is fun but on the french forum sarah said they calculated people can reach "level" 70 without paying and if they want to get to 130 where the room extension is they have to fork it up. Not really a fun event and once again assuming the players have nothing better to do with their lives then sit here and do their events.

Wow, I'm not really that surprised that after 4 hours of baking you only get one cookie. I'm surprised you get any and your home is not on fire :/

You can start cookies on your phone! The instructions at the bottom of the kitchen? Click/touch on the word “holidays” . Hopefully it works for you too.

After clicking on the oven icon that appears below the picture, I clicked that area and was able to start another batch=)

This is giving me flashbacks to another online game I used to play, where you really did have to check in after said amount of time, or you'd have to start again.

The benefit here is that your cookies stay in the oven until you're ready to take them out.

It's not a bad idea, but I'm not going to go crazy trying to bake a bunch during the time this is available.  If I can log on more than once during the day, great.  If not, well, it's fine.

I've only managed to bake 11 cookies, at the rate I'm going I'll maybe be able to reach the 20 cookie level just before Christmas. No room for me. Waiting around for so many hours to bake just one, measly cookie is lame and not fun at all. They could at least make it more realistic by having you bake a dozen (12) cookies for 10 to 20 minutes.

Is there some guide to go by, so I know what each cookie level gives me. So far you get the 'crystal baubles' at 20 and the dress at 70, the room at 100? What about the other gifts like the multipliers?

I knew from the get go, I'd have to buy cookies. Without I'd only manage 2 a day, due to my work schedule, and forgetting, and doing other more important things. (That would be once when I got off work, and the 2nd when I woke up (and Advent Calendered)).

While it's too late to really be useful, I feel like doing math (corrections welcome!) And there is probably something more accurate on the French forum somewhere.
