Worrying about buying Feez

I was just wondering with the new identity theft scare going around (well it is in the USA anyways...) my parents are more worried to buy feez online with a credit card. Is there a way to see how secure buying feez online from the site at the omd bank is? If there is can someone tell me, because as more adventures go on it would be nice to have Feez

Re: Worrying about buying Feez

Tell them to sign up with Paypal.  Then when you want to buy fee'z it goes through the paypal website & you never have to give Oh My Dollz your credit card info.  I haven't heard anything negative about paypal & people's info getting stolen on it.  Its supposed to be very secure :)   If its just not an option for them to put their info online like that, you buy fee'z through your cell phone.  I haven't done it but I believe you call the number it tells you & then they give you a code to type in to redeem your fee'z..

Re: Worrying about buying Feez

as cocobell say you can use paypall. paypall is connected with your ec-conto, but you can take back all payments youīve done with it. you can check your payments afterwarts and feerik doesnīt get your bankinfos.

another possibility are paysafecards. you buy them in a shop for 5,10 or more money. itīs like a card for your mobile, but you buy with it online. with that you donīt give any infos to anybody good

Re: Worrying about buying Feez

that kind of "credit" card would be the paysafecard, but on this card is that much money you payed before for it

Re: Worrying about buying Feez

Well, in my country (Malaysia), I have to pay RM 10 (about 2.99 Dollars) for 507 fee'z. I think it's a little cheap by using cellphone rather than from credit card or bank. I'm planning to buy fee'z twice using my cellphone :)

Note : Maybe using cellphone won't get you fee'z early :[ You have to wait a little for them to transfer some to your account :]

Re: Worrying about buying Feez

Hey, well there is another way you or your parents can get fee'z. Your parents can get you free fee'z (which sometimes requires phone number or credit cards)  or they could use their cell phone. The way I do it is  Zong Mobile. There you type in a cell phone number receive a text with a pin, enter the pin, and there you got fee'z. Bye! :]

Re: Worrying about buying Feez

I just want to let everyone know about my bad experience with buying Feez and how Feerik treated me badly. I bought feez through the bank for the first time and was under-credited by 240 feez. I contacted Feerik but they only further disappointed me - this was their reply (i quote):
"
From: Service client Feerik <support@feerik.com>
To: ***********
Sent: Tue, 24 May, 2011 12:10:04 AM
Subject: [SUPPORT #TWU-**********]: OMD Feez - urgent
Hello,
1040 fee'z is only offered the first time you purchase fee'z through the bank.
The normal price is 800 afterwards.
Exceptionally, I will credit 240 fee'z to your account.
But you should expect 800 fee'z the next time your purchase for 15$ worth of fee'z.
Hope this is understood.
" (unquote)
Please consider the following points:
1. This WAS my first purchase and when I selected feez to buy it said that i was buying 1040 feez - NOT 800!
2. When I contacted Feerik I TOLD them this WAS my FIRST purchase through the bank - they didn't pay attention and replied the way they did!
3. The guy from Feerik said he'll make an "exception" in my case. Exception!? I was supposed to get 1040 feez in the first place!
4. "Hope this is understood" he said! Who does he think he is talking to!? I'm not a little kid who's done something wrong - it's them who made a mistake and should just apologize and fix it!
5. MOST IMPORTANTLY: They haven't credited me the feez they promised in this email!
6. Therefore I have been cheated out of 240 Feez and treated badly!

I am so disappointed and upset! I would really appreciate to hear what you all think - especially if you empathize with me and what I'm going through sad

Re: Worrying about buying Feez

I have been credited only part of the missing feez but, at least, it's a progress.  It did make me feel better that you got back to me with some good news, so thank you. I really don't understand why this got so complicated quoi
