OK here's what you do. If you have a phone or something then play a ringtone or a song and say its a call. Then you leave the place and say it was from your mom/someone else in the family asking you to come home. Works like a charm every time.

I know right. Sometimes i am watching TV and my mom is taking on the phone really loudly... i hate when you does that. Back to the game: Doing the same thing as few minutes ago minutes, watching TV.

Ouch! I did that too, I went to bed but I woke up at like 3:00 and I did not get back to sleep tell like 5:00 - 5:30.
