''.: The Best Software :.''

Hi there ~!
First of all, I'm terribly sorry if there is already a topic like this in the board. (If yes, do tell me so I can delete this topic)

The Topic for this post: " Best Software "
Yes, I'm talking about the best software that can be used to create designs. From what I have known, people usually use Photoshop CS5 with tablet and Corel Paint also with tablet. I'm just a 14 years old girl and I don't have enough money to buy the tablet. My parents also won't EVER let me have it :( So, any suggestions of great software that can be used FREELY and without tablet ?
Here's the current software I've been using but failed ouf ::
GIMP
Photoshop CS3 (I got the copy version from a friend)
PAINT.net
Paint

Feel free to leave your suggestions below, and I will check them out :)

Re: ''.: The Best Software :.''

if you cant buy photoshop you can try the online photoshop its free you can make anything there anytime, i have tried it ,its the same.
if you are failing to use any program its not about it, its about you maybe not using it right you have to be able to know the function of each tool to use it right then its about practise :) you may try tutorials to improve your designes they work
i hope this helps you <33

For me, there is no 'best software'. It is all upto the owner.
Not all painting programs require a tablet for you to be 'great' at it.
To be a designer you should be comfortable with a program and have good knowledge and style.
I think you should try different programs first before settling into one.

I personally use Paint Tool SAI for I am more familiar with it and it's easy to use.
I've only started 5 months ago, so one might say that I'm a 'noob'.
