Very nice to see a dress for Women's Day that isn't cut about six inches above her knees.  It's actually an appropriate length.

I want to challenge your thinking here. Why is a longer dress more appropriate?

While I agree that it's nice to have a dress that's longer (and more to my taste). Isn't it more to the point of Womens day that if we chose we can wear skirt's that short and not be judged for it. A short skirt makes you nothing more than a person that wears short skirts.

Over the last few months it seems that Feerik has come out with dresses that could be passed off as long blouses instead of a dress.  The lengths of dresses have went up and down through-out history and more than likely will continue to do so; as will the height of the tops of pants, skirts and shorts.  Whether a person chooses to wear short shorts or skirts or not doesn't make them a bad person but there is such a thing as MODESTY that seems to be going by the wayside.  No one likes looking at 'plumber's "pants" ' or see someone's "cheeks."  I for one am constantly telling my teen daughter to pull her pants up and stop flashing me.  And don't even get my 80 year old mother started on the Female news anchors who wear dresses that show off most of their legs =)

The dresses I've been seeing in the stores this spring look to be falling around the knee and there's also those 'midi' dresses.  Bring on some of those styles Feerik.
