I've never been a fan of the outline of a woman on the mudflaps of semi trucks or smaller trucks.  The public would throw a fit if someone came out with the same pose of a man.

I couldn't agree more with you! when I saw the mannequins, I thought: Oh! they are too "se-xy"! I can see there are lots of dresses but I don't think I'll spend like 200 DB for this quest. There is no room either! I'll buy some things only

i agree too with the mannequin poses being a bit over the top,
I am a woman and not particularly prudish but there is a difference between sexy and sleazy..that arched back on the one in step 4 doesn't even align with the rest of her body ( gonna have to cover that up with a shower cubicle or something)
i couldn't help but think it must be a man doing the designing because no woman who has an ounce of self esteem would find those "kitten" poses either comfortable or attractive out in public.

I agree 100% with Ilovem. I love the new designs of the mannequins and will soon, hopefully, find a place to put them.

Well, the only pose that really bothers me is the one with the arched back. When I saw it I immediately thought of the Escher Girls and their butt and boobs poses, broken spines and twisted waists (you can google it, but be warned that the things you may see there can scare the heck of you). Of course this one isn't as extreme, but it still gives me the shivers.

I don't find anything very wrong with the other mannequins. The dark-skinned lady from the last step has a rather normal pose for the red carpet and I really like her face, it's very pretty and very different from the other dolls. Although I agree that her boobs could have been covered a little more. I know that actresses wear clothes like that for big galas, but it doesn't mean that we have to add such things to a game that is supposed to be meant for kids. Women are already depicted as the "s.." symbol everywhere else.

@paperlife - I also thought it was Leo! And the short-haired lady looks like Carey Mulligan :)

So, in this quest we get a new dressable doll? Does that mean there's gonna be a brand new store with outfits just for this doll in that position? I mean, it's a cool idea but would that mean you won't be able to dress her with stuff from... say... Okuan or Cosplay store...? Unless, like you make a that position alternate for every dress... But I think that's a really big project considering... Also if you add the Magic Cupboards, that's double the price to get a set and... >_>

But, what I meant was, it's pretty much our doll except she's showing her back instead of front. For the man dolls, it's understandable to make a new line since the doll we have now is female. But this is supposed to be our doll in a different pose, so having her have a whole special store in only her position is pretty restricting XD

So after looking at the stuff one more time, I decided to finish the quest with my alt. Quests are really tempting.

@xemoxrockerx - Oh, a girl can at least dream ;) But actually I'm pretty sure it was just one-time thing and they're gonna neither redo the old outfits nor add a new store. But I still hope we will get more customizable mannequins in the future adventures. I think it's a nice idea :)

@dottygold - That's an interesting addition. Do we have a limited time to duplicate the things or can we do that also after the quest is finished?
And also isn't there a mistake in the message in the "My Things" section. It says "You cannot copy the items from the 2013 Cannes quest", when actually those are the only items you can copy. Or am I misunderstanding something?

I personally don't see anything wrong with this quest. Yes, the dolls are revealing a lot, but a) These are dolls, not real people, b) People - of all ages - are seeing these things, because with the society nowadays it is impossible to avoid this, c) I have a feeling that about every girl in this world will dress this way at least once in their life, because we think it's the best way to dress, and finally d) This doll here:

Is everyday life. Next to every woman/girl/female on this earth wears a bikini nowadays. I fail to see how this is inappropriate, personally.
I'm not saying I encourage these dressing styles, in fact, I go against them, but this is everyday life, and movies. This is just my opinion.
Okay, I'm done rambling now.

I don't understand. They're just breasts. They're the first thing a baby sees. Seriously, all girls are gonna have them some point in their lives. It's only sexual because society over exaggerates everything.

As for the quest itself, the items are okay but definitely not worth 200 DB.

Twin, I see girls wear less than that on a daily bases, let alone parties. Have your breast half out is the style in and many 12-13 year olds are copying it because they want to fit in. I see nothing wrong with it. It's what today is all about.

I see the breast part as a normal part of the body. Society is the one making it look perverted. I see nothing wrong with the bikini one and I particulary like that one. It's so real.

One other thing, I believe OMD is going through a "Growing Up" stage. From what started as a children site has gotten older and so has a majority of their players. All they are trying to do is conform to the world today to please their aging players. We're hitting the "Rebellious Teenage" years. The sexier outfits, sexier dolls, and don't forget the "Fifty Shades of Gray" Quest. This is the generation of today. Take it from the 16 year old who has to see it everyday.
