already have one of the required items. need to buy AGAIN?
in one of the replay-able quests, i've checked and i already have one of the items needed to advance to the next step but it says i don't. will i have to buy that item AGAIN!?

Unfortunately, you do not get "credit" for previously purchased quest requirements when doing a replay... you must buy all the items again, no matter how many levels you previously completed.
In the end, you will end up paying the full price of the quest, as if you had never started it at all... as well as having duplicates of all the items you purchased in the past :/
