In RL, I'd say that I've picked up a few new tricks when it comes to art and video making. Also, I've been growing my networks socially and professionally.

On OMD, Hayley's store is definitely big but also this was the the first time I've finished the Halloween and Christmas quests on my main! Boooo yaaaa!

My resolutions of the new year:

- Lose 30 lbs this year. Last year I had only 15lbs to lose and I think I succeeded, so now. I'm aiming a bit higher. If I'm done with those 30 lbs, then no more weight loss for me.
- Find a mentor. Yup. I need a mentor in my career. Preferably a female since my field is male dominated. The problem that I have is I feel that a mentoring relationship should go both ways, sooooo...I should try to see what I'm special at and see how to help back whoever I choose to mentor me.
- Work more on introducing more girls and women into Engineering in general.Yup, I'm already actively working on that and I hope to this year to make a real difference in the number of female students going into Engineering.
- Be more fashionable. Yup...You can laugh now. But I feel that I need a makeover. So...hopefully soon enough.
- Read a book (500+ pages) or take a course each month.

I think I'll just stop at that. There are a few things that I want to improve about my personality that I have in mind, but I feel that baby steps should do for now :D

Uh...and yeah my parents would like me to find love and get married soon enough too...woohooo....not really. That won't be on my list. I don't believe that it should be planned...More like...uh a surprise?

I don't really have to many resolutions, but I still have a few:
1. Get a bit more fit. I'm not really the most healthy person.
2. Stop biting my freaking nails.
3. Learn more Japanese.
4. Learn more of the human anotomy.
5. Finish half of my book.
6. Be more helpful raising my brother. (I hope to have a mini HIddleston on the way.)
7. Watch classic Doctor Who.
8. Watch more Supernatural.

Longer than I expected... crap, I have a lot to do.

CONGRATULATIONS in making it into your winterguard team! I'm actually doing winterguard right now! Are you going to Ohio for championships? If you do, we might end up seeing each other.

My number one resolution is to appreciate every day I have and try not to take each day for granted. Recently, a very important member of my school's marching band died and it really opened up my eyes. I'm not gonna live forever, and I might even die young and I won't know when. So I'm gonna try this year to appreciate people, my life, and what I do more and to make something of myself.

Is this your first year in winterguard? There's just a lot of regional competitions and then the regional championships, and then national. I hope your team gets to WGI championships in Ohio!

I really don't know a lot about it, but from what I hear. it's exactly as you said. So here's hoping we actually make it that far. We're pretty small though. Only 7 students. and only 4 dedicated students.

For 2014 I'm preparing myself for:

- Pursue a healthier lifestyle
- Go to University
- Be more involved
- Move on from those who are holding me back
- Make 2014 better than 2013

This year in OMD, I loved that fairytale quest with the little red riding hood outfit! It's too cute! I also loved the opening of the flash store because I got that animated kitty I was dying for. However, the no prize for completing the advent calendar was a bummer.
IRL I had my first year in leadership at summer daycamp! I also went to Mammoth Cave Kentucky for a week, then one week after coming home, another week at a horse camp in Wisconsin. Moving out of summer... at the last day of school last year I found out that my homeroom teacher for 7th grade was going to be an 8th grade teacher the following school year, and I had her again (which is good, she's awesome). I also began learning a little bit of Japanese using an ipad app.

These are my resolutions:
~Master minecraft skin making (I'm ok at it, but I can be better!)
~Study hard on Japanese! (I start real lessons next week!)
~Do everything I can to not have to do band in high school >.<
And that's about it :P

My apologies for missing New Years. I'm busy. I hope you've had a great new start to the new year.
